Because Tsuyu and Himiko have had minimal interactions, the Ship is not widely recognized among fans and is heavily overshadowed by Togaraka and TsuChako. As with Ochako Uraraka, Himiko shows interest in Tsuyu as soon as she meets her (but unlike with Ochako), Himiko showed an interest more in Tsuyu's friendship than attraction and tries to befriend her, much to Tsuyu's annoyance.
Himiko and Tsuyu first meet in the forest when the Vanguard Action Squad attacks the forest camp (to kidnap Katsuki Bakugou) and Himiko confronts Tsuyu and Ochako. After Tsuyu drives Ochako away from Himiko's attack, Himiko attacks Tsuyu with her knife and hears Ochako calling Tsuyu by his first name. Himiko smiles upon hearing Ochako call Tsuyu by her name and decides to do the same while claiming that she wants to be his friend.
Tsuyu is upset that Himiko called her by her first name, as that is something that only her close friends can do and before she can react, Himiko holds her hair with one of her blades against a tree and pushes her close to her as she blushes to look at the blood coming out of Tsuyu's tongue, making Ochako angry. After Ochako saves Tsuyu from Himiko, the League of Villains leaves the camp and Himiko confesses to the League that she made some friends, while when the Izuku Midoriya asks Tsuyu and Ochako who she was (referring to Himiko), Tsuyu only tell him that she was a lunatic.
Himiko and Tsuyu's second encounter is very mild and takes place during the Paranormal Liberation War. Himiko tricks Ochako by disguising herself as an old woman while she lies to him yelling at him to rescue her husband. Once he's done guarding the civilians, Tsuyu rushes to help Ochako and discovers that she was fighting Himiko. Himiko was about to attack Ochako with several knives but Tsuyu managed to disarm her with her long tongue. Tsuyu asks what Himiko is doing here and gets angry when she speaks to him by name again (showing that he still remembers when she referred to her by name in the camp). Suddenly the house is shaken by the destruction generated by Gigantomachia and Himiko takes the opportunity to escape the fight, after they realize that Himiko fled, Tsuyu tells ochako to stay alert in case Himiko attacks them from behind.

TogaTsuyu isn't really popular due to the two not actually meeting other than the fight in the forest. Although some people think that the ship has potential, like in TogaDeku's case, many believe that TogaTsuyu would be the perfect ship in Tsuyu villain AU's. The ship is often overshadowed by Togaraka, TogaDeku, TsuChako, TokoTsuyu, and more ships.
