Togojo is the het ship between Kirumi Tojo and Byakuya Togami from the Danganronpa fandom
Canon[]
The two have never interacted in the canon Danganronpa timeline, seeing how both of them come from different Danganronpa games. The only times the two characters interact together can be found in Ultimate Talent Development Plan, a boardgame-mode minigame players unlock after finishing Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony; and Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp.
Ultimate Talent Development Plan[]
In Ultimate Talent Development Plan, Byakuya and Kirumi are found in the School Dining Area by themselves. Byakuya, initially silent, is presented with civet coffee and chiffon cake prepared by Kirumi. He acknowledges her efforts, but his attention quickly shifts to Toko, who he senses is watching him. Toko enters the scene and addresses Byakuya as "Master," displaying her devotion. However, she also criticizes Kirumi, warning her not to overstep the boundaries and not "care for Master [Byakuya] every morning and all night long!"
Kirumi attempts to diffuse the tension by offering Toko a a drink, the options being English tea or coffee. Toko hastily chooses tea but then realizes that her preference wasn't the issue, and she's flustered by Kirumi's accommodating nature. Togami, irritated by the situation, asks Kirumi to keep Toko away from him, but Tojo reminds him that the dining hall is a common area and suggests to move to a more private location if he desires privacy.
Toko is quick to object Kirumi's suggestion, emphasizing Byakuya's authority over the Maid. Kirumi counters that she is offering advice for Byakuya's benefit, highlighting the importance of considering the emotions of those around him. Byakuya, surprisingly enough, concedes to Kirumi's point, acknowledging her exceptional skills and worthiness as a servant to the Togami Corporation.
During the "Potential of Talent" Event the conversation, the main question revolves around ideas to unlock new potential in Kirumi's talent. Kirumi starts by acknowledging that her idea might seem obvious, but she believes it's a way to harness her talent effectively. At first, Byakuya asks if she called him here to seek funding for her venture. Kirumi, however, clarifies that she simply wanted to brainstorm ideas with him and gain insights. She respects Byakuya's expertise in running businesses, which is why she sought his advice. She admits that, despite her experience supporting CEOs and start-up's, she lacks experience in founding her own company.
Byakuya, initially sceptical, suggests that she should pursue her idea as soon as she can get to it. He expresses confidence in her abilities, comparing them favourably to his top stewards, this acknowledgment surprises Kirumi. She emphasizes that her decision isn't just for her but for the future benefit of many. She formally asks Byakuya to be her business advisor. Byakuya, finally relenting, agrees to be her advisor but adds a stern warning that she must not make any mistakes now that she has his support.
Fanon[]
Togojo is a cross-game ship in the fandom. With a limited amount of screentime, this couple is not as popular as others. Both of those characters already have big ship-fanbases with other characters, such as Makoto or Toko in Byakuya's case, or Korekiyo and Maki in Kirumi's.
Their Hashtag on Instagram has a fair share of posts. As for their fanfiction presence, there is only a few fanfictions tagged under this ship, all connected with other couples. For those who are into this shipping, the ship sailed due to the good relation the two characters have towards each other. Byakuya is usually of colder nature, not very into spending time with others, yet his act towards Kirumi is way more respectful than to other characters around him.
Kirumi's exceptional talent as a maid earned her recognition and respect from Byakuya, who highly values competence and proficiency. Her calm and nurturing personality and excellence in taking in orders make her a person worthy around someone of his status. Another point that makes their relation stand out for the fans is the way Byakuya was willing to accept Kirumi's business proposal. Byakuya usually isn't the type of person to agree to such a thing, but the heir states he will make an exception for her during their conversation in Danganronpa S.
What also fueled the ship was Kirumi's Love Hotel Event in Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. Although said event is with Shuichi Saihara, it reveals that Kirumi's 'ideal partner' would be her master, meaning she longs to be in a relationship with the person of status who hires her. With Byakuya being an heir to the Togami family and agreeing to Kirumi's business proposal in Danganronpa S, many fans saw the potential of him fulfilling this dream romance for her.
