TojiMei is the het ship between Toji Fushiguro and Mei Mei from the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom.
Canon[]
Toji and Mei Mei have no interactions in canon as they have never met each other. Mei Mei and a resuscitated Toji were both present in Shibuya in October 31st, 2018 but they did not meet each other. However, they do share some similarities.
Firstly, both characters are known for always being on the lookout for more money. Toji doesn't have much money, so he wanders from woman to woman to sponge off his conquests. However, he'll earn a ton of money from one job and spend it until it's gone[1]. Mei Mei's hobby is counting bills[2], earning money is a game for her[3]. Both characters are invested in gambling. Toji's hobby is gambling[4] and he regularly gambles all of his money away. Mei Mei organised a betting ring for the battle of Shinjuku.
Secondly, they both are very strong characters despite their cursed technique or lack of thereof. Toji was born without cursed energy and therefore without a cursed technique thanks to his Heavenly Restriction. Despite this, he was so strong that, with careful planning, he was able to defeat Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto when they were teenagers. Mei Mei was born with a weak cursed technique, Black Bird Manipulation, which allows her to control multiple birds at the same time and from a great distance. Because she was born with such a weak technique, Mei Mei trained to become a better fighter without needing to use her technique. She then trained to improve her cursed technique and became a grade 1 sorcerer who earned Gojo's respect. Both Toji and Mei Mei are masters of fighting using physical skill, with Mei Mei physical skill being enhanced by cursed energy.
They both keep "pets" and use them in combat. Toji keeps the Inventory Cursed Spirit and uses it as storage. He trained his cursed spirit like a pet and was able to establish a servitude link between them[5]. The servitude link established between them was so strong, Toji's cursed spirit was able to resist Geto's Cursed Spirit Manipulation. Mei Mei keeps crows as she uses them in various situations. She can share their vision during combat, or outside of it, she can also imbue them with her own cursed energy and force them to commit suicide for her during Bird Strike.
They both have unconventional relationships with their families, sometimes using them for money, and do not use their birthnames. The Zenin clan exposed Toji to abuse as a child. He received his scar when he was young after the Zenin clan threw him into a pit of cursed spirits[6]. After he left the Zenin, he took on his wife's name. Toji later sold off his son, Megumi to the Zenin clan. Mei Mei believes that anyone else's life's value, including her own bother's, is proportional to how useful they are to her. Mei Mei's little brother, Ui Ui, is the one who manages her money and her schedule[7]. Mei Mei is a pseudonym and not her real name[8].

TojiMei is a rarepair as the ship has only 6 works under its tag on Archive of our Own. TojiMei is Mei Mei's 8th most popular pairing behind ships like NanaMei and GojoMei. TojiMei is Toji 22th most popular pairing behind ships like TojiGo or TojiNao. The ship's lack in popularity is due to their minimal screentime, them having never met and them both being quite contentious characters within the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom. Fans ship them because Toji lives off the women he's dating and Mei Mei has a lot of money. Toji and Mei Mei have both dubious morality and are not employed by Jujutsu High, prompting fans to wonder how an interaction between them would go.
