Tokkitsune is the femslash ship between D.Va and Kiriko from the Overwatch fandom.
Canon[]
History[]
Both Kiriko and D.Va have interactions towards each other, which indicate some form of relationship that the two have. While there is no story that explains them meeting up or becoming aware of each other, it is easy to assume it potentially might have been answered in the cancelled PvE.
Perfect Night[]
This crossover event with the K-Pop group LE SSERAFIM has Kiriko and D.Va, alongside Brigitte Lindholm and Lena Oxton going to attend a concert of the K-Pop group. It starts with them dancing in their apartment, then driving to the event. However, when Sombra gets involved, it turns into a chase to the concert, where both Kiriko and D.Va use their in-game abilities to get to the concert. As they get there, Kiriko ended up grabbing the wrong tickets, to which Tracer uses her Recall to get them.
The music video ends with the group taking multiple photos, some even has some hanging with one in particular, such as Kiriko and D.Va hanging out when Brigitte and Tracer apprehend Sombra for theft.
While there might be some debate on whether this whole event can be considered "canon", it is currently the only official content we have of the two interacting that aren't the interactions.

Fanon[]
Tokkitsune is a very recent ship that has gained some traction. Due to their friendly banter, it is easy to see why the ship has a lot of followers. Their personalities can be similar a lot of the time, and thanks to the interactions, we know they work well with one another. As stated earlier, there is no canon reason as to how or why the pairing know of each other. Despite that, their shared interactions in-game brings a unique dynamic to the pairing. Their history could have been something that could have potentially have been answered in the cancelled PvE. However, this leads to a lot of stories that helps bridge the gap to have the two meet.
Speaking of those stories, on AO3, there are currently 63 works for the pairing. While it is not the most written pair for D.Va, it is currently the the most written ship for Kiriko.
