TomTord is the slash ship between Tom and Tord from Eddsworld fandom.
Canon[]
The oldest interaction between them takes place in Zombeh Nation, when Tord says they should go their way through the abandoned house and Tom agrees with him stating that it seems safe. Later Tord says they need a plan to escape, and Tom soon has an idea. When they arrive to save Matt, Edd suggests that they open the gate, to which Tord replies to love the idea.
In Eddie's Teddy there is a time when Tord and Tom are pushing Edd at each other.
In Christmas Special 2005, Tom is shown telling Tord a joke before Edd goes to a reality in which he never existed. In this reality, it is shown that Tord and Tom are good friends and founded a multi-million "adult film" company together.
The episode Behind the Scenes, is an episode dedicated to talking about the characters relationships with one another so obviously a lot was said about Tom and Tord. First of, when Tom talks about his struggles with his alcoholism, it shows that Tord attended the intervention with him to talk about rehab, which seeing as it shows Tord attacked by a drunk Tom later in the episode means that he at least cares enough about him to over look that and help him anyway. This could be because Tord also suffers from addiction problems himself (which is mentioned later in this same episode), but its not explicitly said. Next, Tord talks in his interview about how he always felt there was tension in the group due to him and Tom fighting a lot, where Tord says that even though he and Tom don't always get along and argue a lot, he still considers him a good friend and thinks they're better off now, but you can hear Tom in the background calling him an asshole, implying that Tom just genuinely doesn't like him. This is also where their conflict of beliefs is first mentioned, with Tord talking about him disagreeing with Tom being a Jehovah Witness and Tom disagreeing with him being a Communist.
In Hello Hellhole, Tord takes the DVD of Return of the Insane Zombie Pirates from Hell 3, and plays it for Tom for everyone to watch.
In the Zombeh Attack saga, in part one as they run away from the zombies Tord says they need a place to hide, to which Tom replies that they also need to be discreet. In part 2, after Tord's death, Tom stated to Edd that he is very happy. In part 3, when Tord's spirit tries to alert Tom that Matt has freed himself and will spread his zombie curse in the city, Tom screams and shoots him with a shotgun.
In Ruined, when Edd tells the four to split up and tells Tom to come with him, Tom laughs and teases Tord, later Tom is all bruised, and says the same as he said before, but soon after says that next time Tord will accompany Edd.
In Spares, one of Tord's clones and Tom's clone are in the arcade, and when Tom sits a force meter, and after seeing the result looks proudly at Tord's clone, who responds by grabbing a gun and shooting the maquinha. Later when the clones enter their house, there is a moment when Tord is surrounded by Tom's clones trying to say a good catchphrase, with a frightened expression.
In 25ft Under the Seat, when Tord was leaving to move in, Tom is thrilled, and when Tord says goodbye and calls them old friends Tom claims he is not his friend.
In WTFuture, future Tom says that the time machine he used to go back to the past was given by Red Leader, who is heavily implied to be Tord. This means that they are most likely allies in the future, and that Tom is Tord's subordinate.
In The End (Part 1), when Tom gets home he is the first to see Tord in the house, asking about being there and getting in shock at realizing who he was. Tom shows to be annoyed by Tord's presence, being annoyed when Edd welcomes him, and when Edd tells Matt that he lived here Tom reinforces he lived in the past. When Tord asks where the armchairs are, Edd replies that Tom sold them to the pirates, to which Tord calls him the stupid classic Tom, poking his cheek, and resolving the situation with a device he created. Tom holds one of the devices and asks him what it is, to which Tord replies that it is just something he created, crushing with an armchair. Tom asks him when he will leave, to which Tord replies that he will return to live there, leaving Tom in shock, complaining to Edd about it. When they are putting pots in their heads to enter the toilet, Tord purposely gives Tom one with a small animal inside, which attacks him, later when they are producing a movie, Tord throws a cat on top of Tom who also attacks him, and then when they are in space also makes an animal get into his helmet, causing Tom to end the day hurt. Then Tord asks if he could get his old room back, which Tom denies for being his current room. Tord says that he could sleep on the couch and calls it again classic stupid Tom, when Tom loses his temper he tells Tord that if he wanted his room he could stay with him at will and that he was already fed up with this place.
In The End (Part 2), when Tom was walking down the street he finds a poster in which he has the picture of Tord stating that he is wanted, and returns to the house to face him, to which Tord reacts with dismay, saying that he had only returned to get one thing, and when Tom asks what it would be, Tord presses a button, in which he lowers his hat, in which Tom gets confused, but then Tord says that he matched a lot with his giant robot. When Tord enters the robot, he starts shooting at the house and Tom runs to save himself. He later tries to throw a couch at the giant robot but it's no use, and Tord tells him to shut up and throws a missile into the house, but Tom survives and throws a harpoon at the robot, destroying it.

In PowerEdd, it is shown during a flashback that Tord and Tom have known each other since their childhood, being shown next to each other in their classroom. At one point in the episode, Tom transforms into a monster, of which there was a drawing in Tord's lab that can be seen in The End (Part 2). It is unknown whether Tord specifically planned to transform Tom.

- A very popular song that is associated with TomTord. It is not uncommon to see people mention the ship under videos that aren't even TomTord or Eddsworld related, as long as the song is present then there will most likely be a comment talking about TomTord. The main reason as to why this song is so heavily associated with the ship, even outside of the fandom, is because of an animation that was uploaded by Maethoriann on YouTube which has garnered over 6.7 million views.[1]
Fanon[]
TomTord is the most popular ship in the Eddsworld fandom due to their remarkable interactions in "The End". It's common for fans to interpret their relationship as one-sided feelings on Tord's side, as he seems to enjoy teasing Tom and even calls him an "old friend", while Tom only shows that he hates Tord, stating several times that he is not his friend. Some like to interpret Tom saying they're not friends as implying they were something more in the past, seeing them as exes. It is unknown what their relationship was like during childhood and adolescence as they were never shown interacting in the flashbacks. Many believe that they were once friends, but that their relationship cooled over time. Others believe that they were always on bad terms, with Tord bullying Tom during their childhood.
There are plenty of popular scenarios that fans like to draw the two in. Because it is heavily implied that Tord is the Red Leader and that Tom is working for him in the future, there are a lot of fanfictions and fanart of this, where they are usually in a relationship or just hooking up occasionally. A lot of people also ship the Tom and Tord from the "No Edd AU" (Christmas Special 2005), where most use the "adult film" company they founded together as a plot device for fanfiction. In this AU, usually one falls for the other after seeing the other in these videos and commonly get jealous, or the two being the ones in the videos and falling for their co-worker.
Another AU that was very popular is Lemon Boy, in which Tord would have yellow eyes hence the name of the AU. The AU was popular mainly because of Zoyberg, an animator that uploaded a lot of animations about not just TomTord but also the AU in question. As an example, one of their most popular videos was about the aforementioned AU which gained 10 million views.[2]
There are currently 1000+ fanfictions of them on AO3, being the most written ship for both Tom and Tord, and the most written pair in the Eddsworld tag. They are commonly shipped alongside EddMatt and Paultrick, and has rival ships TomEdd and Tomatt for Tom, and EddTord and TordMatt for Tord.

- In Surf & Turf Wars pt. 2, a boat called "TMTRD" with a blue and red flag on it appears, a reference to the ship between Tom and Tord.
- In Pride Month, 2023, a sequence of artworks were posted. The characters are at an LGBT parade and Tom is wearing a headband with the bisexual flag.[3][4][5][6]
