Topher and Amy were put on the same team together, Pimâpotew Kinosewak.

Topher kept on interrupting Chris during his announcement of today's challenge so that he could kiss ass and compliment everything he says and does. Although she didn't say anything outright, Amy was visibly annoyed with Topher, as she was seen glaring at him and later rolling her eyes at his incessant chatter. Later, Amy volunteered to partner up with Samey, telling the rest of her team that it wouldn't be fair to force them to work with Samey. Topher gave Amy a prideful look of approval, as he listened to her smugness. During the challenge, Amy was shown with Samey, impatiently standing at the bottom of the zipline course for Topher to show up with the team's grease pig. When Topher finally came, he announced his arrival and boasted about him awesomeness. Amy just looked at him with her hands on her hips and angry eyebrows, really not interested in Topher putting on such a meaningless show.
TWINNING ISN'T EVERYTHING
Team Kinosewak sat around and has a picnic for breakfast in the morning. Samey got mad at Amy for stealing credit for foraging for berries and started to call her out at the picnic. Topher decided to seize this opportunity to put his "reality show hosting skills" to good use as he started narrating the event, using a carrot like a microphone. Topher framed the situation as Amy being the victim and Samey being a bad bitch, putting her down. It was prevalent that Topher was no exception to Amy's the teammates siding with her in her war with Samey, as Topher was one of the contestants to vote Samey off the show. Unbeknownst to him, Samey assumed Amy's role and poisoned her sister with an apple so that she could avoid elimination.
I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU KNOTS
Samey continued to serve as a teammate to Topher, under the guise that she was Amy. When "Amy" said that the person she hated the most was "Amy", her team saw this as her blaming herself for Samey's abuse. Topher assured "Amy" that she shouldn't have to blame herself for the way Samey treats her, exhibiting genuine compassion and support for the girl he thought was Amy.
BLAST FROM THE PAST
"Amy" asked who should go first during the 123X-Dash and Topher volunteered. After taking his turn, Topher confidently told "Amy" that she was up next. Topher stood next to "Amy" for most of the 123X-Dash, with them both cheering on their teammates. Topher also cheered "Amy's" name as she went out to take her next turn. Topher was among the many people to be confused, when the real Amy returned, not being able to tell who was who. Topher supposedly voted Samey off, still not liking her for how she allegedly treated Amy.

TophAmy is a rarepair in the fandom, at least when compared to rivaling ship, TophSam. This is mainly due to their lack of direct interactions. However, shippers believe that Topher and Amy share a lot in common with each other and would make a good couple. They're both kind of rude and have no problem making mean comments about others. They're also both incredibly egotistical, taking great pride in their appearances and thinking of themselves as outstanding celebrities in their own ways. There's even a sizable portion of shippers who believe that if they worked together and applied their strategies to the game, they could become a villainous power couple and crush their competition. There have been character analyses of these two, comparing their untapped relationship as a power couple to that of Aleheather's, except in this case, they'd get along better and be even more unstoppable. However, after seeing the small moments of Amy exhibiting slight toward Topher, others have considered the possibilities of conflicts in their relationship. However, seeing how well Topher treated Samey, while she was pretending to be Amy, it's clear that Topher holds a genuine sense of respect and undying support for her, which could signify a potential friendship or even a relationship with the real Amy. Besides Sampher, Other rival ships for this couple include but are not limited to, Tophella, Tophlett, and Tophmine.
