Transformers ships. This page is for ships with a lack of content, or for ships with minimal interactions. Please add as much content as you can to the sections below. Once a ship meets the requirements, you are welcome to create a page.

The current requirements for ship pages are:

• 20 sentences split between the canon and fanon sections, with content in both sections.
• One minimum link under the fandom section (e.g. AO3 tags, Tumblr links)

Please refrain from adding more than five images to a ship section, and refrain from adding any fan art. If you're unsure if a ship meets the requirements for a page, discuss with a member of our admin team.

In the G1 cartoon, Chromia was first introduced to be a love interest and paired with Ironhide.

In the Transformers Go! Go! manga, Ironhide calls Chromia his 彼女 which translates to 'girlfriend'.

KnockOp

KnockOp is the slash ship between Knock Out and Optimus Prime.

In "Deus Ex Machina", Knock Out pulls up to Optimus and gives a wolf whistle. He compliments Optimus on how good he looks, and compares his size to Breakdown's, just as Breakdown rams into Optimus.

KnockOp is a smaller pair in the Transformers: Prime fandom, and even smaller in the overall Transformers fandom. Although it is mostly joked about due to Knock Out's first interaction with an Autobot being him hitting on Optimus and comparing him to his conjunx.

On AO3, KnockOp is the sixth most written ship for Knock Out. There are 34 written works.

MegaSound is a common pairing among Transformers fans. Soundwave being Megatron's most loyal lieutenant leads to a lot of shipping. Many interpreting that loyalty as Soundwave being in love with Megatron.

MegaSound gained some fans after EarthSpark episode eight. As many fans points out that Soundwave was acting like a jealous ex over Megatron joining the Autobots. Many saying that they had "divorce energy".

On AO3, MegaSound is the most written ship for Soundwave and the fourth most written for Megatron. It is also the sixth most written ship in the Transformers: Prime tag.

Ratchcee is the het ship between Ratchet and Arcee.

In the G1 cartoon, Red Alert and Inferno are shown to be very close, Red Alert pleaded for Inferno to stay by his side and Inferno later proved his loyalty to Red Alert when he saved him from his paranoid self, carrying him to safety bridal-style.

ShockOp is a smaller ship within the Transformers fandom, but is well known among IDW fans. The ship began as many fans interpreting the relationship between Shockwave as a Senator and Optimus when he was Orion Pax as romantic.

On AO3, ShockOp is the third most written ship for Shockwave and the eight most written for Optimus. There are currently 110+ works.

Simpatico

Simpatico is the slash ship between Brainstorm and Perceptor.

In James Roberts AMA when asked about Brainstorm and Perceptors relationship in the comics he states, "Well, if you had to put a gun to my head, I'd say that they were a proper couple.

G1 S1 E13- Fire in the sky: where Starscream reunites with his long-lost colleague Skyfire(also known as Jetfire), They are shown to be close in the IDW Shattered Glass comic as well as before the war in the Skybound Energon universe. They allude to having known eachother in Cyberverse and are colleagues in War For Cybertron: Siege.

A popular ship stemming from the G1 cartoon where Starscream addresses Skyfire calmly in a way that is very out of character for him and they are shown to have history together. Their time spent separated provides angst to their relationship, which continues to become strained after their reunion. The ship has spawned many AUs where Skyfire is inserted into other continuities to be with Starscream. It is also popular for fan creators to have them start a family together. As starscream is frequently mistreated in canon many enjoy seeing him happy together with Skyfire. In shattered glass their paths also meet, and their time together comes off as a tragic love story. Skyfire often defecting to the autobots also creates the trope of forbidden love as their relationship is split between enemy factions.

On AO3 SkyStar is the 6th most written for Transformers ship with 1k+ works.

• While Mrs. Witwicky was never seen or mentioned in either the G1 cartoon or original Marvel comics, the cartoon production bible did state that Sparkplug is a widower.

Spike x Carly

Spike x Carly is the het ship between Spike Witwicky and Carly.

In The Transformers season 2 episode "The Immobilizer", Spike first met Carly when she was more interested in meeting his friend Bumblebee. She followed them and soon got involved alongside the Witwickys in the Autobot-Decepticon conflict. Spike and Carly would join the Autobots in several occasions. In one incident, the two travel to Cybertron together to find Cybertonium for the Autobots and bring back the deserting Dinobots.

They eventually got married and have a son named Daniel at some point between season 2 and The Transformers: The Movie.

• They also appear in Transformers Animated as background cameo along with Daniel. In one episode, Carly gets pregnant and they have a daughter named Nancy.
• Carly has no known last name in the 1980s cartoon, other than taking the Witwicky name upon marriage. Although she was given the surname Brooks-Spencer in Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Cyberverse

In the Cyberverse episode "Cube", during a flashback to before the Great War, Windblade arrived on Cybertron and fell in with Starscream and his Seeker friends. He took her to a Cube game where he flaunted his upper-class credentials by mocking the plebs and having Bumblebee be kicked out of the stadium. He didn't like she was fraternizing with Bumblebee. Winblade becomes disgusted with the Seekers, and helps Bumblebee stop Starscream from causing chaos in the sporting event. Afterwards, she ditches the Seekers and left with Bumblebee, and eventually joined the Autobots.

Starscream doesn't seem to acknowledge Windblade through the rest of the series.

Idw Comics

In Transformers: Windblade (2014-15), Windblade was hit by a bomb that Chromia had planted to convince her to go back to Caminus, but instead hit Windblade landing her in the hospital. After she had somewhat recovered, Starscream decided to pay her a visit. After sarcastically congratulating her on being alive, he touches her on the side she got injured, causing her to wince in pain.

Windstream

Windstream is the femslash ship between Windblade and Slipstream.

Canon

Windblade plans on returning to the ship, when Slipstream arrives and says that she's not headed anywhere. She's flanked by two other seekers and Windblade asks what she wants to talk about. Slipstream then starts firing on her and pins her to the ground. She demands to know what Windblade is doing on Earth, since she thought they left all the useless bots on Cybertron.
