Tulvali is the friend ship between Revali and Tulin from the The Legend of Zelda fandom.
Canon[]
Tulin has generally looked up to Revali as much as his own father does. In Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Revali catches on to Tulin's whereabouts in Korok Forest for a moment before he disappeared and becomes concerned due to seeing a family resemblance between the boy and Teba, so he tells the latter about it which Teba begins to panic and pleads him to tag along, which Revali does despite his skepticism about his current state. Teba asks for a description of the child and Revali recalls him as having white feathers and looks like him a lot. They eventually find Tulin at the heart of the forest, whom Teba recognized immediately as a Rito Captain offers to protect them. Tulin meets with Revali, and says, "Hello, sir! You're really amazing with a bow! Just like the great Master Revali!", which shocks Revali, who corrects him, "I'm not "just like" Revali. I AM Revali. But, ahem... No need to stare at me with those wide eyes." Teba tells him that Tulin is his son, leading Revali to conclude that they both traveled back in time. Tulin often compliments Revali's skills on the way out, leading him to believe that he is still worshipped even after a full century. When they reach their initial destination which is a dead end, Revali becomes frustrated that they should have consulted the Koroks for guidance, but fortunately, Tulin was looked after by the Koroks who taught him about the false walls on the stumps which reveal a path forward, which Revali compliments for understanding the wind patterns.
Once they escaped from the forest, Teba tells Tulin to thank Revali since he is the reason he lived. Tulin obediently trots over to him to do just that, and Revali smiles a little and tells him that he is pretty good for a little kid. Tulin becomes enthusiastically as he tells him that he is doing all kinds of training to be just like him and notes that he will one day master the Great Eagle Bow. Revali sighs as he tells him that he could have died to the monsters in the forest, and notes that even though he went through that, he is still happy. Revali then states that it wouldn't be long before he's the master of the wind like him. Teba agrees while adding that he must surpass his father first, with Tulin innocently imitating Revali's speaking mannerisms which cause Teba to laugh before stopping himself as Revali asks if it was meant to sound like him. Teba doesn't know how to explain before Revali breaks into a laughing fit, as Teba and Tulin join in. Tulin summons Tulin's Tornado to propel himself into the air like Revali does with his gale, only to fall to the ground as Teba checks up on him, while Revali chuckles in amusement as he reminds him that he still has a ways to go, affectionately calling him "kid".
During the secret DLC ending, Revali can be seen at the Flight Range, with Tulin sleeping on his lap and stopped the blanket from being blown away by strong gusts of wind as Teba watches on in delight.

Tulvali is a very rare ship among fans, with currently only over ten stories that pair them as friends in Archive of Our Own and there is still yet to be fanart of Revali and Tulin. Regardless, fans grew to love the two of them together because of the scenes that have them sharing the screen. This is due to the fact that Revali does have a soft spot for children enough for him to open the Flight Range for them as the Creating a Champion book states, as well as his journal that kids look up to him. The exclusive DLC for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity brought that to the surface where Revali cares for Tulin's well-being and went all out to help save him from the monsters and has some humorous dialogue between them during the Searching Hyrule Forest Scenario. Additionally, Tulin was the reason Revali's peppier, playful side was brought to the surface when fans were used to seeing him as an arrogant jerk he is usually depicted as, and Revali was shown to be quite fatherly with Tulin. On top of that, Tulin's expanded role in Tears of the Kingdom as well as his becoming more experienced to the point of holding his own in battle and his father passing down the Great Eagle Bow down to him, has numerous unsuspecting fans believing that the Hero Worship scene in Age of Calamity as well as their bond, had been foreshadowing his role the whole time.
