TwoBats is the slash ship between Harvey Dent and Bruce Wayne from the DC Comics and DC Animated Universe fandoms.
Canon[]
Bruce and Harvey grew up as best friends, and remained so into adult-hood. When Bruce became Batman, Harvey become one of his closest allies, although unaware that it was Bruce under the mask. When Harvey is sprayed with acid, and his alternate personality, Two-Face comes forward, he becomes one of Bruce's biggest enemies. Bruce considers his inability to help Harvey a personal failure, and one of the biggest in his life. Harvey eventually became aware that Bruce was Batman, but has been able to keep it a secret from his alternate identity for as long as he can.

TwoBats has a decent sized following in the DC fandom. Arguably one of the more popular Bruce/Rogue ships. A good amount of shipping comes from the DCAU fandom, as a lot of fans easily interpret their relationship as romantic. Especially with how often Bruce seems to not approve of Harvey's girlfriend. Along with the series highlighting how much Harvey's transformation affected Bruce. Many fans question why Harvey isn't Bruce's main villain instead of the Joker. Given that their relationship has one of the biggest emotional drives for Bruce, more so than the Joker or any other villain.
Many were upset that the childhood friend aspect of their relationship wasn't adapted into the Dark Knight Trilogy, or into the Gotham TV series. For the Dark Knight, fans of the ship were disappointed that Rachel was given the childhood best friend part of their relationship. Especially since it was later revealed that it was going to be Harvey instead. Given that Rachel is Bruce's love interest in the film, added some fuel to shipping. As it seemed for many to prove the idea that if a character swapped genders it would make certain characters end up together. For Gotham fans it was even more disappointing as they made Harvey a different generation than Bruce and never had them interact.
Due to the casting of Misha Collins as Harvey in the Gotham Knights TV series, many believed that there would be an uptick in TwoBats popularity. This was also followed by confirmation that Jensen Ackles was at some point planned to end up playing Bruce in the series,[1] along with him previously voicing Bruce in "The Long Halloween" movies. The reason many thought this would lead to more shipping is due to Misha and Jensen previously playing another popular CW ship, Destiel, and believed that many of the shippers would follow if both actors were in the series.
Many shippers are hoping to see Harvey appear in the Robert Pattinson (Battinson) films. As they believe if any Bruce deserves a boyfriend it's him.
On AO3, TwoBats is the most written ship for Harvey. It is also the fourth most written ship in the Batman: The Telltale Series (Video Game) tag. There are currently 355+ written works.
