Two of Hearts is the femslash ship between Sweetheart and Perfectheart from the Omori fandom.

Canon

After forty-two seasons of SWEETHEART'S QUEST FOR HEARTS, the final episode begins, with OMORI and his friends hiding in the crowd after sneaking in through a trapdoor. The host of the show gives a speech about the long journey behind them to find Sweetheart's perfect suitor, before welcoming them to the aisle. The camera pans down the aisle to a cake, which Sweetheart jumps out of in a wedding dress, followed up by the host revealing that "The only suitor magnificent enough for SWEETHEART... ...is SWEETHEART herself!" As the ceremony begins, Kel laughs at the absurdity of Sweetheart marrying herself, but is scolded by Aubrey, who objects just before Sweetheart can be pronounced her own wife. She tries to tell Sweetheart that there's someone out there for her, to which Sweetheart replies that she no longer believes in true love and that she only loves herself. Shorty after she gets into a fight with the group and the wedding is cancelled, marrying Capt. Spaceboy instead and divorcing him almost immediately after.

Sweetheart later paid the Slime Girls to create three clones of herself to choose from as a perfect suitor. Among these are Roboheart, Mutantheart, and Perfectheart, who are rejected for being accidentally programmed to kill instead of love, being deformed, and being offended at the idea that she wasn't perfect already, respectively. After storming off from all three without paying, Sweetheart is stopped by them, where she tells the sisters that she was unsatisfied with the results and OMORI and his friends will pay her debts, before running off. She is then presumably consumed by Humphrey off-screen.

Upon return into Humphrey after defeating the Slime Girls and Humphrey, Perfectheart can be found in the junction between the labs of the Slime Girls with Sweetheart, who has been made by Perfectheart to sweep the area as a maid as a form of punishment to teach her humility. Sweetheart’s name has been changed to “Sweepheart” in her dialogue as well. Perfectheart can be challenged to a fight, to which she will eventually agree after making sure you really want to fight her, being one of the strongest and most difficult bosses in the game. If defeated, she will lose the glow around her sprite and acknowledge her weakness.

Fanon

Fans may ship Two of Hearts due to Perfectheart attempting to “fix” Sweetheart, which would help her improve many aspects of her personality. They also typically find Perfectheart’s demeaning treatment for Sweetheart to be cute, funny, or well-deserved. Two of Hearts derives its name from the playing card, referring to both characters being nearly identical in appearance and having “heart” in their names. Two of Hearts’ main rival is Spaceheart.

Some fans believe that a relationship between the two could be eventually possible after self-improvement on Sweetheart’s end, seeing that the only reason Perfectheart wasn’t an acceptable suitor to her in the first place was because she didn’t want to believe she wasn’t already the most perfect she could be due to her narcissism. It can also be pointed out that her love for herself somehow became romantic at some point, attempting to marry herself on several occasions (one of which being Perfectheart’s reason for existence).

Trivia

• Sweetheart owns a body pillow of herself which can be found in her bed.
  • This body pillow was later purchasable in real life for a limited time, having Sweetheart on one side and Perfectheart on the other.
• During an event on OMOCAT’s Twitter, Sweetheart, Perfectheart, Mutantheart, and Roboheart can all be seen tweeting from the account before OMOCAT eventually got her account back.
• While not explicitly stated, it can be implied that Perfectheart has one-sided feelings towards Sweetheart, having been originally created to be her wife.
