Tyzula is the femslash ship between Azula and Ty Lee from the Avatar: The Last Airbender fandom.
Canon
Azula and Ty Lee were childhood friends. They always enjoyed being around each other, even though Azula picked on her occasionally. She was jealous of Ty Lee's acrobatic skills. Eventually, Azula tried to recruit Ty Lee to help her hunt the Avatar but she refused because she was enjoying her life in the circus. Because of this, Azula stayed for her performance and purposely made it more dangerous for her in order to coerce her into joining her. It worked and Ty Lee decided to join Azula.
Months later, they were on a vacation at Ember Island together. Azula was irritated with seeing a bunch of boys flirting with Ty Lee and eventually told her that she was just making herself easy. Ty Lee immediately started to cry so Azula apologized to her and admitted that she was jealous. Ty Lee then gave Azula advice with flirting. Later, the group was at the beach together and Azula laughed when Zuko made fun of Ty Lee and called her a circus freak. After Zuko left the Fire Nation, Mai turned on her in order to help him escape from the Boiling Rock. Azula was about to attack her until Ty Lee chi blocked her. Azula was very hurt by Ty Lee's betrayal. Over a year later, Ty Lee was seen to still be afraid of her.
Fanon
Tyzula is a very popular Avatar ship and is the most popular femslash ship in the fandom, as well as the most popular Azula ship and possibly Ty Lee ship as well. It is heavily based on their close friendship and many fans speculated that they may have feelings for each other. A lot fans have hope that they would eventually reconcile after the war since they are no longer friends. Some think that Azula did have feelings for Ty Lee because she was very hurt by her betrayal and started to lose her sanity. Tyzula most commonly rivals the Chanzula, Ty Lokka and Ty Laru ships.
On AO3 it is the most written ship for both characters. It is the sixth most written in the Avatar: The Last Airbender tag.
