UmeTomi is the slash ship between Hajime Umemiya and Choji Tomiyama from the Wind Breaker fandom.
Canon[]
He envies him for his relationship with the others while being the top dog of Boufurin, but he eventually makes peace with him after their one-on-one fight.
History[]
Back then, they meet each other and they were fighting each other with their teams. After their fight, they retreat, Choji says goodbye to him and the Boufurin members. They'll fight again sometime and he walked away with his team.
Shishitoren Arc[]
From now on after, Choji came at Furin High when he beats some of the students who got injured. He calls out Hajime using his megaphone that he wants to have a fighting competition and Hajime knew them and they get out off the rooftop and they go down. They came and have a talk, all he wanted to do is to have a one-on-one fight with him and he jumps around over at him. He satisfied with this and he knows it, but he'll kicks his face but he stopped his leg. He wants to start fighting with him but he asks him why he wants to fight badly but rather than fighting. But, he wants him. Ever since he become the top of Shishitoren, he was unbearably bored. But he saw him he was stood at the top he was having fun. It was not fair, he decided to make Boufuurin and Umemiya will be all for him. But it must been very hard, the Shishitoren members came and they're gonna have a conversation. When all the Furin High students came, Hajime will accept the duel. He wants them to have a fighting brawl competition but a separate one-on-one fight like a festival or like a group fight in kendo. Choji picks Hajime to fight, but he should be enough for a one-on-one fight, but it wouldn't be more interesting with everyone. And now the fight has begun.
On the next day, they came to see and they went on a Shishitoren Headquarters to have a fight. They fight has started and they watched them fight. After the fight between Sakura and Togame, Hajime switch with him so he can fight with Choji, and he'll will take care of the rest of it. It's Hajime's turn to fight against Choji and it's the final round. He jumps around over him that he is ready to fight with him. If he win, both Umemiya and Boufuurin will belong to Tomiyama. He talks about Hajime being the leader because he's so strong and he was having fun. He'll show that he's stronger than him and make FGuurin on his own way. Then, he'll be finally free as long and more fun than anybody. At long last, these days of endless boredom will the end. They begun to fight each other.
They did their fighting skills. While fighting, he's asking living in what-ifs will only make him suffer but he knew it, he remembers what he's talking about but he don't really understand it. But he nearly punched his face and he see it. His nose went bleeding and he understand it that there's no absolute way would he ever lose. They continued to fight, but he cant fell his punches are landing, he says his punches are weak. And he knows why, it's because he's not shouldering anything and he don't get it. He is done talking and he'll beat him up until he shut it up. He punch on his face but he punched him on the floor. He wants to become free no matter what and he's gonna kick on his face and yet he don't looks so happy. He don't understand anything about his true self, that's why he never satisfied always talking about the what-ifs and must be rough for him. He have nothing but sympathy. He snapped at him despite about being leaders that he and they lead at them. He punched on his face, he don't know why and he needs to shut it up himself and he don't get it at all. He rages and screaming, he don't want him anymore and he don't need anything. He fights with him and he punched his face using his both hands, he wants him to shut him up already but he was completely lost. Because if he keeps destroying everything from now on and forever and he wants him to shut up. He bite his neck like a tiger, and he pats at him and he already found the answers and he punched him. He remembers back then when they knew each other when they fight. His fist was heaver a lot, he remembers back then he look radient a lot more than now, he looked like he's having fun who's surrounded him back then what could he see on his eyes and he went emotional. He don't want to come closed to him. He holds his face and he remembers it what he saw back then. It's what necessary for him and for the leader of Shishitoren, but he headbutt him on his face and he beats him up and laying down on the floor.
He gives a jacket to him because he refuse as a leader
Hajime had won the one-on-one fight, he lost against him, Hajime told him that to not let him make such a face and he knows sadly. Togame stands him and up he'll talk to Umemiya, he gives a jacket to him that he'll be quitting as a Shishitoren leader and he lost everything. He told him to take care to everyone, but he don't want it. He decided to make a decision from starting now, they're becoming friends for good, which makes today's fight is to get-together that they have fun and he's an interesting guy.
They celebrate a party at a picnic after they fight. They got foods they have which was delicious and they enjoyed it. He was smiling at Choji eating a meal. He ask him why are they having so much fun despite being them as leaders. But he really loves eating. Tomiyama likes curry and Umemiya likes omurice, he like it even more they can all sit together and enjoy eating. And that's why and he's having a blast and k=he knows why, this has nothing to do with him being their leader as he thought. He remembered back when they're laughing together with them and the Shishitoren members, but he didn't realize how much he had and thought he'd only have fun after rising to the top and why he didn't realize this. He does it because humans breath all the time and yet don't thank oxygen every second they lived. Just goes it shows, how much fun he had, how natural it was for them to be with their side and he was so glad for them. He ask one more thing if he wanna knew about all of that why he decided to become a leader. He gives a yakitori to him and he smiles and that because so that they could always eat food together like who they are. He need to become a Boufuurin leader so he'll be happy and that's all there is to it. They're sitting and eat together. He see he's shouldering all of it and he knows, and that is why his fist were light and no wonder he couldn't win. They're now going and he give a anpan to him because he forgot to bought a bread from the bakery before coming here. He thanks to him and they see them walked away and saying goodbye that they'll see them sometime.
Post-Battle Celebration Arc[]
After the battle of Noroshi, they were celebrating a Thank You Party at Furin High. Umemiya arrived upstairs at the rooftop to celebrate and he came to see Tomiyama for having fun. They've came to have a toast to celebrate for everyone.
