Unahura is the femslash ship between Una Chin-Riley and Nyota Uhura from the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds fandom.

After Uhura is the only one of her roommates to not be affected by the light disease, she waits in the medbay for what to do next. Una sits besides the her and asks if she's doing anything right now. They head to Uhura's room where Una retraces Uhura's steps from the night. Una asks how her roommate's got the contagion but Uhura didn't and Uhura suggests that it's because she went to bed. Una hops into it and asks if it was like she did, but Uhura says that she closed the door on the bed. She needs it pitch black to fall asleep and Uhura closes the door.

Unahura is a very rare pair in the Star Trek fandom overall, and in the Strange New Worlds fandom. Most that do ship them, came prior to the release from SNW. This was due to Una only appearing in one episode of the original Star Trek series. The unaired pilot, in which she in no way interact with Uhura. Uhura wouldn't do so until the Star Trek series was made picked up by the network, and she became the most well known female character in the Star Trek franchise. Since Una was still an early Trek character, it was easy for fans to try and find ways to ship them together. Coming up with new ways for them to meet.
When it was announced that both women would be appearing in Strange New Worlds, many fans were excited. Regardless of if they shipped the two or not. As seeing the original main woman of Star Trek, interact with the most well known female Star Trek character, was exciting for many fans. While the two did meet, fans wanted to see more of their dynamic explored. As they did barely interact in the first season of Strange New Worlds. Luckily both will still appear in Season 2, so there's a very high possibility that the two will still interact more.
