UzuRen is the slash ship between Kyojuro Rengoku and Tengen Uzui from the Demon Slayer fandom.
Canon[]
Tengen and Kyojuro are both fellow Hashira, apart of the Demon Slayer Corps. With the two of them being the Sound and Flame Hashiras respectively. The two are first seen during the Hashira Meeting regarding the Kamado siblings, where both of them are on the side of killing Nezuko. During this Kyojuro says something and right after he is done Tengen joins in.

In Rengoku Gaiden, when Tengen first met Kyojuro he states that Kyojuro is flamboyant and likes this guy. He also found his hair colour flamboyant and pretty. This was at the time when Kyojuro went to the Hashira meeting to replace his father and to tell Ubuyashiki why he hasn't attended.
After Tengen received the news of Kyojuro's death, he was in disbelief that even Kyojuro couldn’t defeat an Upper Rank.
In Season 2 Episode 8, the 2 interacted with each other at the end of the episode (post credits). Kyojuro said that he could never be like Tengen as well and asked him to take care of Tanjiro and the others. In one of Season 2 episodes Tanjiro saw that Tengen resembled Kyojuro as he spoke. Although Tengen himself said that he could never be like Kyojuro, which parallels the thought of Rengoku above.
In the Kimetsu Academy spin-off series, the two of them are teachers alongside most of the other hashira. Kyojuro is the history teacher and Tengen is the art teacher.
Fanon[]
UzuRen is a well-known pairing that became rather popular in the fandom. The pairing has quite some fans despite the fact that Tengen is married. Due to the fact that Tengen is married, people jokingly started to say that Kyojuro could be his “fourth wife” while others say his “first husband”. This led to some fans liking the idea of Kyojuro being in a polyamorous relationship with Tengen and his wives. While some others tend to create an AU where Tengen is not married and that he eventually meets Kyojuro and they get together.
Many people like this pairing, due to the friendship the two have. With many also liking the admiration and respect the two have for each other, what was shown in some season 2’s episodes.
In the second opening for season 2 Tengen was shown visiting a grave, people began to speculate that the grave belonged to Kyojuro. However, in the end, this turned out to not be the case since the grave actually belonged to Tengen's brother.
It is the fourth most written ship for Uzui and the fourth most written ship for Kyojuro. It currently has over 500 works on AO3.
