UzuZen is the slash ship between Tengen Uzui and Zenitsu Agatsuma from the Demon Slayer fandom.

Zenitsu and Tengen are both part of the Demon Slayer Corps. Tengen is a Hashira, while Zenitsu is just a Demon Slayer.

Entertainment District Arc[]
Episode 35[]
When the two originally meet, Zenitsu develops a disdain for Tengen after he attempted to forcefully get the inhabitants of the Butterfly Mansion to accompany him on a mission, and due to his flamboyant personality, even referring to him as the “god of idiots”.
Tengen's frivolous attitude doesn't sit well with Zenitsu's character and often annoys him. When Tengen tells the boys of his plan to find his wives, Zenitsu becomes enraged at his womanizing antics and mocks him for claiming to have three wives, which results in him getting knocked unconscious by Tengen.
Zenitsu and his will of becoming an oiran to take revenge on Tengen.
Later, when Tengen, Zenitsu, Tanjiro, and Inosuke infiltrate the Entertainment District, Tengen's appearance also causes Zenitsu to seethe with jealousy as he appears to draw more attention from the women within Yoshiwara. Zenitsu's aversion towards Tengen reaches its peak when he abandons Zenitsu at the Kyogoku House and instructs the manager to assign him the task of cleaning the brothel, leaving Zenitsu furious as he is left to fulfuill his duty. Zenitsu, getting immersed in the tantrums, swears that he will make Tengen to regret his decision by becoming the greatest oiran.
Episode 41[]
After a few talks with the Upper Rank Sixes, Daki aims her obi sashes towards Tengen before her attack gets diverted by Zenitsu, launching the two into the sky.
Kimetsu no Yaiba: One-Winged Butterfly[]
In Chapter 2: The Right Way to Recommend a Hot Spring, Zenitsu constantly gets worn out by Tengen with his draconic trainings along with many other Demon Slayers. He sometimes decides to ditch the practice sessions in order to feed his laziness. Noticing the situation, Tengen gives Zenitsu a “special training”, telling the boy to dig out a hot spring manually, adding that he is not allowed to eat until then before handing him a shovel.

Zenitsu, angry, bluntly refuses Tengen's request, and much to his surprise, Tengen neither reacts nor swings the bamboo sword at him. Tengen's handsome face, despite losing an eye, maddens Zenitsu. Calmly, Tengen mentions how his wives love soaking in the hot springs, praising the perfect lines of the bodies that the three kunoichi possess. With those words, Zenitsu eventually gives in.

Kimetsu Academy[]
In the spin-off Kimetsu Academy, it is seen that Zenitsu's dislike for Tengen is not any different from the original universe. Tengen's charisma effectively made him well-liked among the female students, considering how the man also has three wives, Tengen became Zenitsu's least favourite teacher as well as the subject he is taking charge in.

UzuZen is a well-known pairing in the fandom. The ship mainly gained attention during the Entertainment District Arc, since the two share many interactions during this Arc.
Although the ship often receives much backlash, primarily from the Western side of the fandom due to the considerable age difference between the two characters, UzuZen still claims a large fanbase in Japan, makes them one of the most popular Demon Slayer ships in this area.
People either have them becoming a couple somewhere throughout the story, while others have created AUs of the two where either Zenitsu has been aged up or Tengen aged down. Even though some fans adjust their canon ages to make the pairing “legal”, a vast majority of UzuZen's fans tend to keep their original ages despite Tengen being a 23 year old adult and Zenitsu being a 16 year old teenager. People like to think that since the age gap was legal in the Taishō era, it is okay to ship them now. But others argue that since it is illegal now, the past doesn't count.
Whilst there are people who like to pair Zenitsu and Tengen romantically, there are also people who prefer the two as just friends. This is mainly due to the age gap between Tengen and Zenitsu. Another reason is that fans also tend to see Tengen as an older brother or father figure for Zenitsu.
UzuZen currently has 590+ written works on AO3, being Zenitsu's third most written ship and Tengen's second. On Pixiv, the pairing has 24,000+ total works, making UzuZen the couple with the most fanworks for both characters as well as the second ranked pairing within the Demon Slayer fandom.

- Both of their Breathing Styles are connected to one another. Tengen uses Sound Breathing, which is derived from Thunder Breathing, the Breathing Style Zenitsu uses.
