A lightning strikes, and facing the maid drone standing beside them, V suddenly sports bladed claws with an eerie smile plastered on her face due to Cyn’s control.
When Uzi and N bump into Tessa and J, N warns them silently about the possessed V. Cyn controls her into attacking the group to retrieve the key to said basement. Her efforts are placed to no avail; N and Uzi successfully enter the basement, but N is muscled into a chair so Cyn can permanently remove his memories about his origins once again. When she struggles to pick up the appropriate tools for the procedure, she used V’s body instead, in which V struggles as well. When N awakens V from Cyn’s hold, Cyn pins the female drone to the ceiling and insults her and N’s relationship. Absolute End[]
V is seen searching for N in the hallway of the abandoned building; she continues to shout at explanations for their current situation to him, and she bumps into Cyn's holographic disguise of him. She begins to tearfully apologize for her dishonesty and harmful actions to the false N, and the true N shouts at her to stop. Cyn drags his corpse out of handing after yanking out his heart and reveals her true form to V. She reiterates V's words and points out that the latter had claimed that if the squad had done their jobs, Cyn would leave them alone. V struggles with her words, claiming she can still perform something, but it isn't made clear of what she was preparing to say. Cyn tells V that she had done a bad job before cutting of the lights and dashing towards her. V successfully escapes the building but is shortly provoked by Cyn afterwards. Uzi, thankfully, rescues V from her incoming demise. A battle ensues, and Cyn is left deceased and freed from being the host of the Solver.
V and Cyn’s relationship is immensely strained despite Cyn being N’s sister figure. When provoking Uzi, who was underneath Cyn’s control, she depicts Uzi as Cyn, signifying her spiteness and past trauma involving the latter. It is clear that V had been aware of Cyn’s existence for a while judging from the secrets she was desperate to hide from N wrapping around the topic of the Solver. Cyn appears to be aware that N formerly had romantic affection for V, explaining why Cyn took the form of V in “Mass Destruction” when provoking him. Their past relationship before Cyn was revealed to be a major antagonist is currently unknown.
Fanon[]
The ship’s popularity is infamous among the Murder Drones fandom due to their insanely strained relationship. However, fans note that Cyn is currently not present as her true self due to the Solver’s hold over her body and mind. AUs could be utilized to transform their connection into neutral terms. Fans may headcanon V as Cyn’s sister-in-law due to the latter’s past romantic relation with N.
Additionally, alternate AUs could conjure that involve Cyn stealing V as a romantic partner from her brother figure, N.
