The relationship between Vanitas, Noé and Jeanne is the most complicated love triangle in from "The Case Study of Vanitas" Vanitas falls for Jeanne but does not want to get close to her because he may be a "Lithromantic" without realizing it. However, Vanitas wants to be with Jeanne even though he is very uncomfortable with the romance. At the same time, Jeanne wants to be with him because she sees Vanitas as her savior who has made her find the happiness called love, something that the Bourreau would never be able to find. At the same time, Noé is sexually attracted to Jeanne but is also interested in Vanitas. He is also jealous that she drank Vanitas' blood before the young vampire.

However, he is interested in the relationship between Vanitas and Jeanne, always trying to question her, especially "What is love?". Vanitas, his best friend, refuses to be close to Jeanne, but he admires her from the bottom of his heart, always listening to Noé's advice to treat Jeanne well.

Noé sometimes protects Jeanne from Vanitas, and she helps remind Noé to see Vanitas' true self. A human boy who helps Jeanne and Noé, he trusts his best friend to take care of Jeanne instead of himself.

In the final episode, when Jeanne and Vanitas fall in love, Noé sees her with Vanitas in the Gévaudan, and is forced to hide his heartbreak from his best friend and continues to try to comfort him.

After the fight with Mikhail ends, they return to the hotel, but Vanitas is still thinking about Jeanne and watches Noe eat the tart tatin with delight, envious of Noe's relationship with Domi.

Storyboard

In Noé's initial storyboard, he didn't want to interfere with Vanitas' story, but he did interfere with Vanitas and Jeanne's love, but in the future he will learn, which the plot remains the same from the new version, but some plots have been adjusted accordingly, confirming that their relationship is a love triangle.

Fanon[]

In the midst of the conflict between VaniJeanne and Vanoé's ship war, there is still a fan club that loves polyships like "Vaenneno". They have made a meme for the fan club that only loves their favorite ship, and people hate Jeanne because she is seen as an obstacle to Vanoé and has been hating women since the anime started airing.

Vaenneno is the most popular platonic, due to the influence that Jeanne and Noé have on Vanitas' growth in different ways. Jeanne and Noé sometimes care about each other, even though the young vampire is jealous of her being with Vanitas, making them popular. It may not be the only ship, but they are a constant topic of conversation in the fandom, apart from some of Vanoé's conflicts with her hatred of women.

Due to the boredom of fans seeing the ship wars of fans demanding healthy relationships, it's a series with toxic characters, some fans decided to ship Vanitas x Noé x Jeanne more. Also, Jun Mochizuki ships VaniJeanne more, but sometimes she intentionally writes content for all three of them.
