Vah Room is the cargo ship between Link and the Master Cycle from The Legend of Zelda fandom.
Canon[]
Mario Kart 8[]
When the DLC for the game is downloaded, Link and the Master Cycle become available in terms of playability. Its major strengths are its speed and handling while having a poor traction. It is considered to be the fastest bike, having been tied with The Duke for having the lowest acceleration and heaviest weight.
Breath of the Wild[]
While the Master Cycle itself does not appear at all, the Master Cycle Zero makes its debut, and it can only be unlocked through completing The Champions' Ballad, completing all four of the Champions' Songs and defeating Monk Maz Koshia. The monk in question calls it a Divine Beast that only a true Hylian hero would be worthy of using It is converted to a Rune that can be summoned at anywhere, except Gerudo Desert and the burning areas of Death Mountain. The Master Cycle Zero runs on fuel which requires any kind of material to replenish it and once it runs out, it's unusable until Link restores it. While on the motorcycle, Link can still fight by using his sword and can run over enemies. The Master Cycle Zero will disappear if Link falls from a great enough height, falling into the water and taking a hard collision with obstacles. Link cannot take any fall damage while riding the vehicle.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[]
The Master Cycle returns in the Switch version of Mario Kart 8 and serves the same role as it did in the original Wii U version. Only this time, it is also accompanied by the Master Cycle Zero, along with Link wearing the Champion's Tunic. This is due to the fact that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was in development and the Master Cycle Zero was never considered at the time, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was released after Breath of the Wild which allowed for the Master Cycle Zero to be included into the game.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity[]
The Master Cycle Zero made its return in the Pulse of the Ancients DLC Pack requiring the player to perform various tasks for Purah and Robbie and once they complete the tasks leading to the Master Cycle Zero, it will be unlocked as a weapon. However, Princess Zelda is the user of this vehicle instead of Link and she is noted to love using it and various quests has her improving and doing difficult obstacle courses with it. During the DLC ending of Guardian of Remembrance, Link can be seen accompanying Princess Zelda as she tries out the Master Cycle Zero, only to speed away with Link chasing after her.
Fanon[]
Link and the Master Cycle (as well as Zero) are pretty common in various fanfics revolving around the Breath of the Wild universe, which often depicts Link riding it once he acquires it and ends up preferring to it ride that over a horse or pulling a wagon, with some memes have him leaving his horse for the Master Cycle Zero. Fans grew to love the idea of Link riding a motorcycle despite the controversy around any kind of modern or futuristic technology in an otherwise medieval fantasy setting like The Legend of Zelda to which it became very popular. It's not uncommon to come across various fan art that depict Link riding the Master Cycle (or Zero) which fans find to be very cool with an air of awesomeness to it. Sometimes, Link is depicted with Princess Zelda while riding the vehicle in some Zelink fan art, or Zelda herself rides it on her own, which she actually does in Age of Calamity. Vah Room is the name for the ship due to the name itself sounding like a revving engine of a motorcycle or any motor vehicle and the "Vah" which is fitting due to the Divine Beasts having "Vah" in them before their differing names and the Master Cycle Zero looking like an animal like a Divine Beast, (in this case, a horse) as Maz Koshia states that it is a Divine Beast in its own right.
