ValVel is the het ship between Valentino and Velvette from the Hazbin Hotel fandom.

Both Valentino and Velvette are overlords who are members of a group known as the Vees, beside Vox. Val is in charge of the adult films he creates in the Vee's tower, while Vel oversees both the Vee's social media and fashion. Not much of their relationship is known, though the background of Vel's call to Vox indicates that Velvette was hiding from Valentino when he was having a temper tantrum in her apartment. Tearing up her models and is angry of how Val's actions have delayed her fashion show, while leaving the task to calm her fellow Vee down to Vox. Not wanting to deal with him herself, as she didn't care to know what got him upset, and knows that Val would want to see Vox.

There have times when the two were able to work together. With Velvette including Valentino in one of her advisement posters and banners for her Love Potion. Even though Valentino is the Overlord of Lust, Velvette is the one who owns its brand. The two have also been shown to hang out in Valentino's apartment, as seen in both "Radio Killed the Video Star" and "The Show Must Go On."

Radio Killed the Video Star

At the beginning of the episode, Valentino hysterically destroys Velvette's apartment while she organized a parade when he finds out that Angel had moved into Charlie's hotel. Then Velvette quickly calls Vox to calm him down, calling Valentino his "little boy toy". Valentino also tore up some of her models, and Velvette is only worried about the model recovering because the show won't start without her. Velvette describes the situation to Vox as if he were waiting for a "flat-faced prince" to calm him down.

The Show Must Go On

During the angel army's attack upon the Hazbin Hotel, Velvette sits in Valentino's apartment with him and Vox, as they watch the battle from within the safety of their tower. Allowing them to witness Alastor being injured by Adam and then become shocked at the sight of Heaven's first man being killed by the hotel's tiny maid. Vel is shown to have stayed in the apartment after the angels returned to Heaven, watching the news of the battle on her phone. Once Velvette noticed Valentino standing next to her and that the news on her phone caught his attention, she shows it to Val, who has shown interest in what it has to say, but then quickly loses interest and walks away. With the Vees believing that the Radio Demon to be missing, Velvette records a video of Valentine dancing with Vox as the Overlord trio make plans to shake things up in Hell.

ValVel is mostly overshadowed by StaticMoth, and the fact that there weren't many moments of Valentino and Velvette alone. Vel sending Vox to calm Val down also suggests that she and Val haven't been in an off and no relationship, like Val is shown to be with Vox. Though this hasn't stopped people from shipping them.

Fans of the ship like to point out Vel's Love Potion advisement posters, as one of them has Valentino advise the product with her. Though it has her name, there are strong indications that Val may have aided Vel in the creation of it, or simply provides her with one of the key ingredients. With the Love Potion suspected to work more like a day-rap drug, rather than cause demons to become lustful, has sparked the theory that Val uses Vel's creation to control his actors; with a love potion bottle seen in Angel Dust's dressing room.

Velvette being much younger than Valentino, as well as Vox in age and have been in Hell far longer than her, has got some people to think that Vel's fellow Vees probably view her as a daughter of sorts. Though not everyone agrees with this thought, with Val not see being ideal parent material, and the fact that Vox would most likely be the more responsible parent of the two. Along with the fact that this thought originates from the pilot, where Vel had a more "child-like" design, while her redesign for the main series makes her appear to be older.

Though the porn films Valentino has his contracted souls act in don't require much clothing, some people like to think that Val has Velvette or the souls she has under contract to design and craft outfits for their clothed scenes. As well as create sexy style clothing for him to wear. Some ValAngel fanfics even have Val ask Vel to design outfits that would make Angel look sexy on his arm, or simply sexy to look at. In return he would allow Vel to borrow Angel as a part-time model.
