Valkirye and Rebecca meet during an interdimensional trip. When the Tallus' navigation system is damaged, Valkirye and the Exiles begin jumping between universes. So when they end up on Earth-86315, Valkyrie meets Rebecca for the first time. Rebecca is concerned at first, thinking they're nazi soldiers. But upon seeing Valkyrie that concern is gone and Rebecca quickly approaches Valkyrie.
The Exiles join Rebecca and Captain America on a mission to stop Red Skull. And on the Red Skulls airship the two of them sat next to each other and continued talking. Rebecca starts affectively calling Valkyrie "muscles." And proposes to her that if they manage to survive their mission, they should dance together. So Valkirye not only accepts, but also says that after that, "the making of love" is always warrantied, something Rebecca doesn't get due to Valkyrie's complicated word usage, but with which she agrees anyways.
Once they do survive, the two of them are seen dancing together happily. Valkirye holding Rebecca by the waist, sharing some flirty words. However, their moment gets interrupted when a dangerous leak is found. When that turns out to be a nuclear bomb. The two of them are both separated again when Valkirye gets taken to another dimension. But later on, they reunite again in that dimension, where Rebecca is now a pirate. Then, once again they're separated. So once they see each other in another dimension, they have nothing but sweet words for each other, with Rebecca even teasing that Valkyrie can hold her in her arms later, when they'll "get time for that." However, always with the fear of not surviving that dimension and not seeing each other again.
