Canon

Vanitas saves Riche from becoming a decoy for the wolf "Loup Garou", and she thanks him. Although Riche and Vanitas interact little in the story, he is seen caring for her as a colleague and showing her respect, perhaps because she is a friend of Dante's and a dhampir (human-vampire hybrid), he takes pity on her.

Meanwhile, Riche gets along well with Vanitas and looks at him favorably, especially at the amusement park. When she heard that Vanitas had snatched the gun from Dante, she tried to make an excuse for him by saying, "BUT...! EVEN IF MONSIEUR NOÉ CAN ONLY USE ONE ARM, IF IT'S HUMAN AGAINST VAMPIRE... THE DIFFERENCE IN STRENGTH WOULD BE TOO BIG. IT COULDN'T GET ALL THAT BAD, COULD IT?" To comfort everyone, however, Johann interrupted her thoughts.

After the incident, they start a new case with the dhampir. They have a disagreement with Parks Orlok. Vanitas expresses dislike and sympathy for the dhampir. Riche comes to apologize to Noe and Vanitas, telling them about Machina and the novels he wrote, and complaining about Dante not reading to her when he was a child. However, when she begged him, he read to her, and Vanitas couldn't help but smile and be fond of their cuteness. (Dante and Riche) Back to the tense conversation and information exchange, Riche then asks Vanitas and Noe to help her and the Dhampir.

Vanitas arrived at Dante's with Riche, overjoyed that they had come to help. Vanitas teased her, saying he never helped before. Riche replied that Vanitas just happened to be with Noe and decided to help her. Rize felt a little sad, but he also enjoyed teasing his favorite idol.

In the AU drama CD, Vanitas and Riche are just acquaintances and not even friends. However, Riche is obsessed with his romantic relationship with Sasaki Jeanne and talks to Amelia about it all day.

It is an omega story that expands on the story that is not related to the main story. It is about a tea party. Vanitas talks about love, so he teases Dante and asks him when will you ask Riche out on a date. Vanitas shows interest in Dante and Riche's relationship, showing that he adore about her.

VaniRiche is the least popular ship compared to VaniJeanne and Vanoè who has the most shippers. They can be called an "impossible ship" because their relationship is just friends who know each other through Dante. However, Vanitas still cares and ships Dante x Riche wholeheartedly. Although Vanitas spends less time with Riche than Jeanne, Amelia but he sympathetic to Dhampir 's difficult situation, and he cares for her and shares similar interests, leading to a fanfic in A3o that revolves around their relationship going on dates.
