Vax is the het ship between Serial Designation V and Jax from the Murder Drones and The Amazing Digital Circus fandoms.

Canon

Due to being from separate universes/media, V and Jax have never met in canon. The duo have intense similarities between them that activate the Birds of a Feather trope. Both characters are known for their infamous violence and antagonistic attitudes. However, V forcefully became a villainous character due to being reprogrammed into a Disassembly Drone. They both have an extreme passion for violence and murder, as evident in V gleefully participating in the mass genocide of Worker Drones and Jax complaining there wasn't enough bloodshed in one of Caine's adventures. They also are perpetrators behind mass killings.

The primary thing that separates them is V's capability of caring for others and becoming a heroine towards the end of Murder Drones. Jax has yet to prove to the audience he's capable of coinciding with his acquaintances. Despite this, V continues to retain most of her Disassembly Drone nature and is seen consuming deceased Worker Drone limbs. But this isn't confirmed whether she is responsible for their deaths or not. V also murders others to survive, unlike Jax, but she admittedly enjoys killing regardless. There are arguments that can be used against their Birds of a Feather trope.

This is said since V is revealed to be formerly a sweet and loving character prior to her forced transformation. Although Jax's past is left unrevealed for now, he intentionally screws with the other circus members for his personal gain and or entertainment, even putting their lives in danger with little care. As confirmed by official The Amazing Digital Circus author, Gooseworx, she states that he will do much worse things in future episodes. Jax shares the voice actor, Micheal Kovach, with Serial Designation N, a character in Murder Drones who is close friends with V. This, however, isn't the same for V, who's voice actress, Nola Klop, isn't present in The Amazing Digital Circus.

Fanon

Vax is an extreme rarepair within both fandoms. This is solely due to their zero interactions and acknowledgment with the other due to deriving from two separate media. Their small fanbase that does ship them likely created this pairing due to N, V's former love interest, sharing the same voice with Jax. V and N's voice actors additionally have worked together in previous works, such as Poppy Playtime, the famous indie horror game. Their very similar traits uphold the ship as well. They spark the Unholy Matrimony and or Outlaw Couple trope for their villainous characterization and history for committing murderous and or violent crimes.
