Veenter is the het ship between Hunter and Vee from the The Owl House fandom.

Canon[]

The two first meet in "Thanks to Them" after the Hexsquad is sent to the human realm. While the two tend not to have a ton of interaction, they were shown to be on good terms in the intro. For example, Hunter and the rest of the group look happy for Vee after she finds her human form in the intro. In another scene, Vee is seen warning Camila and Luz not to eat the dish Hunter and the group made. During the rain scene, Vee is seen laughing after Hunter and Gus fall into the mud. When Camila asks the group to say "I'm going to pick Luz up from school" in Spanish, Hunter jumps in with a quick response but says it incorrectly, prompting Vee to say the sentence correctly.

Later on, Hunter surprises the group with his cosmic fronter costume. Vee is a bit weirded out by it and grabs the book, telling him that the book was written in the '90s. After Vee mentions that they will be late, Hunter reassures the group by telling him he'll be on the next bus. Vee nods before leaving. During the battle with Belos, Vee tries to drain magic from Belos to save Hunter and tells Hunter to "hang tight". Vee is shown upset after Hunter doesn't wake up and attempts to call an ambulance. Vee cries when Flapjack sacrifices himself for Hunter; she smiles after Hunter wakes up.

Fanon[]

Veenter started off as a crackship, due the pair having zero interaction. It was shipped mainly due to how much they had in common, like how they were brought back from the dead to serve Belos, abused by him and became free because of Luz. Fans also theorized that the two had previously met before when Hunter was the Golden Guard, and Hunter was involved in Belos's experiments with the Basilisks. Many fans wanted to see how they would react upon seeing each other, hoping that Hunter would recognize Vee or the opposite. However, it was usually overshadowed by Huntlow.

Fans of the pair were happy to see the pair interact in the first episode of season 3, however, some hoped they interacted more. Some fans started to view them as siblings after the episode, due to Luz calling Hunter calling family and fans hoped the three would be canonically siblings. Which is why Luz is included in fan works with the two.

After the crew confirmed there was going to be a storyline between the two if the show didn't get cancelled[1], fans started to speculate if it had something to do with Hunter being in the emperors coven or if the two had met previously.
