Veesha is the non-binary ship between Vee and Masha from The Owl House fandom.
Canon[]
Yesterday's Lie[]
Masha and Vee met each other while Vee was still impersonating Luz. Since Vee was part of a batch of basilisks that were brought back from extinction by Emperor Belos, and managed to escape to the Human Realm, while Luz was in the Demon Realm, she stayed there impersonating her. When Vee went to the Reality Check Summer Camp, she met Masha for the first time, though not as her real self. The two of them end up sharing cabin 7, along with Masha's two friends, and become quite close with one another.
When Vee and Luz start looking for magic, they see that Masha and their friends have some Hexes Hold'em. So Vee goes to them and asks them where they got the cards. Since Masha was already reading some cards to their friends, they read one of the cards to Vee before telling her where they purchased the cards.
Masha tells Vee that the card reads that she's running away from her past. After hearing this, and after Masha tells her that the cards are from the Historical Society, Vee walks away somberly. Masha instantly realizes this, with a bit of hurt in the tone of their voice, as they point this out to their friends.
Thanks to Them[]
Sometime later, they meet each other once again at the Historical Society, where Masha is now working at. Vee now meets Masha in her human form. So as soon as Masha sees Vee, they get closer to her and exclaim that something about Vee seems familiar to them. Awkwardly, Vee tells them that she's "just new in town." Masha seems to buy this and quickly hands her a pamphlet, telling Vee that if she ever needs a tour guide, she can "hit them up." Vee is briefly stunned at the offer, and brightly blushes while staring at Masha.
An illustration during the credits of "Thanks to Them" shows Vee having seemingly taken up Masha's offer, with the two shown walking through town together.
Behind the Scenes[]
Upon being asked if Vee and Masha were dating, Dana Terrace said, "Yeah, maybe." But since the ship wasn't shown on screen, she also said that the ship could be anything that fans want and that it was up to the fans' headcanons.[1]
Fanon[]
Though Veesha as a ship existed soon after the characters' introductions in the season 2 episode "Yesterday's Lie", the ship received a surge of popularity with the premiere episode of season 3, "Thanks to Them", mainly spurred by Vee’s blushing at Masha's proposal for a guided tour. Jade King, in their review of "Thanks to Them" that was published the day before the premiere, alluded to this scene, specifically referring to Masha's offer as "flirtatious".[2] Once the episode premiered, there were many fans who followed suit, likewise interpreting both Masha's proposal and Vee's blush as romantic, leading them to theorize the possibility of a relationship blossoming between the two.
