Anne realizes that Eddie is going to his old work building and heads there, screaming in horror when she sees Venom about to bite someone's head off. She starts to run, when Venom goes back inside of Eddie as he runs after her. Anne gets that there's some creature in Eddie and makes him go to the hospital. Venom comments that he likes Anne, and they get in the car. Anne suggests that Eddie should have another MRI done, but Venom is against it. Eddie tells her that loud frequencies and fire hurt the symbiote's and Anne asks if Venom is talking to Eddie. Venom says that Eddie feels sad when he's with Anne, and Eddie tells him to get out of his head. Venom says that Eddie may not have long to live and he should apologize for what he did.

Anne goes in search of Venom after he and Eddie broke up, and heads to Mrs. Chen's for a lead. With the way Mrs. Chen talks about Eddie, Anne realizes that Venom is inside her and to come out right now. Venom does and tells her that Eddie is going to have to fight this battle himself. Anne tells him to stop being a big baby, and to go help Eddie, but Venom is still cut up about the insults. Anne says that Cletus will come for Eddie, and Venom says that he's the hero between the two of them. Anne then begins flirting with Venom and playing into his ego, which causes him to relent and go help Eddie.
Anne then goes to the police station, and Venom take over her body, allowing them to break Eddie out. Once they reach Dan, Venom goes back inside of Anne and tells her that he doesn't want to talk to Eddie. She tells Eddie this, and Venom informs her that he wants an apology. Eddie argues but eventually agrees to apologize. Anne realizes that she's going to have to keep things civil between the two, and tones down some of Venom's harsher critiques, as well as telling Eddie when he needs to do more. He gives a sincere apology, which Venom likes, but Anne decides for herself that Eddie should give a little more. Eddie does, and Anne informs him that Venom is thinking it over, and then has Anne hug Eddie to get back to him.
