VenMick is the friendship between Mickey Mouse and Ventus from the Kingdom Hearts fandom.
Canon[]
Mickey and Ventus first meet in the Keyblade Graveyard after Ventus runs away from home. Ventus is fighting Vanitas when Mickey arrives, surely saving him from being killed. Mickey and Ventus then join forces and fight back against Vanitas, forcing him to hastily retreat from the battle. After Vanitas leaves, the two introduce themselves. Ventus takes note of Mickey's keyblade. He also points out that they both seem to have run away from home, making them similar.
Mickey shows off his star shard, explaining that he should simply have to think of a place and it will take him there. However, he notes that it doesn't quite seem to be working. He does suggest, however, that perhaps the star shard noticed something in Ventus and that is why it brought Mickey to the Keyblade Graveyard when it did. Suddenly, the star shard activates again and sends them both to Radiant Gardens. Ventus tries to follow Mickey, but loses him when his attention is captured by a giant Unversed.
When Ventus heads to Neverland in search of Terra, he finds Mickey's star shard. After stealing it away from Captain Hook, the star shard takes him to the Mysterious Tower. There he meets Goofy, Donald Duck, and Master Yen Sid. Yen Sid explains that Mickey is in trouble, and Ventus offers to go to the Keyblade Graveyard to help save him. Ventus battles Vanitas, attempting to forge the χ-blade. Ventus fights back, at the cost of his own heart being locked away. Mickey eventually finds Ventus and Aqua and brings them back to the Mysterious Tower.
In Coded, Mickey believes that he has finally found Ventus' missing heart. In Kingdom Hearts III, Mickey and Riku head to the Realm of Darkness to free Aqua. Once they return with her, Aqua and Sora set out to awaken Ventus. Ventus and Mickey reunite at the Mysterious Tower. He apologizes to Ventus and Aqua for being unable to find their missing friend, Terra. Ventus and Mickey are both members of the Seven Guardians of Light, working alongside the other keyblade wielders to defeat Master Xehanort.
After meeting Mickey in Birth By Sleep, Ventus forms a D-Link with him. This means that Ventus can summon Mickey's powers during a battle. Characters only D-Link with other characters they consider to be "allies", which means that Mickey was likely very important to Ventus.

VenMick is considered to be a rarer friendship in the Kingdom Hearts fandom, as most fans tend to focus on Mickey's relationship with Aqua when it comes to pairing him with someone from the Wayfinder Trio. However, fans of the friendship appreciate the way that Mickey was able to save Ventus' life and fight alongside him. They also enjoy how hard Mickey fought to bring back Ventus and Aqua after the end of Birth By Sleep.
