Vessa is the friendship between Serial Designation V and Tessa Elliott from the Murder Drones fandom.

Tessa and J sneak out of the room after J breaks Tessa free from her chains. The two bump into N after they prepare themselves with weapons. N hushes at them and points out that V is possessed and crawling on the ceiling above them. The group huddle and prepare for any impact. When they let their guard down momentarily, V drops down from the ceiling and clashes into them, forcing everyone to separate. She immediately aims for Tessa first, nearly piercing her skull with her claws. J blocks the attack and spares Tessa’s life.
Dead End[]
V listens intently as Tessa and J explain their plan against the AbsoluteSolver. During the conversation, Doll takes off with the key bug, ensuing a chase. Doll eventually escapes successfully, leaving the rest empty handed. Continuing on from the previous interruption, Tessa and J continue explaining their task. Tessa sends J out to attend to the space pod as V, her, and the others head inside the laboratory. Once inside, Tessa is captured by an unknown creature after failing to unlock a device. The entirety of the group eventually run into Alice and Beau, who knock them unconscious via EMP pulse.
When Tessa and N escape, they sit in an empty room awaiting V and Uzi’s arrival. When it occurs, V threatens Tessa, placing a blade to her neck. She orders that everyone leaves and tries to get N to follow. When N refuses, Tessa informs him that V does not know yet of the secrets she had relieved to him. V overhears this and questions them. Tessa and V face each other, V visibly anxious. The squad head further into the laboratory, stumbling upon the elevator. When Uzi and N hold hands, V and Tessa express their disgust towards it; Uzi scolds them both for this. They discover Doll’s supposedly bootlooped body, and V immediately suspects it to be a trap. Despite this, they approach the worker anyway, which confirms V’s suspicions and Doll traps the rest in a room crawling with Sentinels whilst she drops down the elevator shaft. As the Sentinels nearly blast Tessa in the head, V swoops in and grabs the bullet by her bladed fingertips and sends it back to the sender. She protects the group as the rest head inside the elevator. Tessa watches as V sacrifices herself by forcing the elevator to head downward without her inside, leaving her alone and weak against the Sentinels.
Fanon[]
The two have very minimal interaction mainly due to Tessa’s low appearances as herself (and V’s corruption in Home) and not the fused corpse with Cyn. Because of this, the dynamic between them is not popular within the fandom, but the two are commonly shipped with N and J, creating the pairing Tessjenvy. But after V rescued Tessa from the incoming bullet, it reveals that the two are on good terms in consideration of their past close friendship. Judging from their past relationship with each other to the present, the ship sparks the Night and Day Duo trope.
The ship had recently begun being shipped in a more romantic light, having only three romantic fanfictions on AO3. Some may compare it to Jessa, the pairing for Tessa and Serial Designation J. Jessa could also be the influence for shipping Tessa with V in consideration of V and J sharing similar attributes.
