Vidiatink is the femslash ship between Tinker Bell and Vidia from the Disney Fairies fandom.

Tinker Bell[]

Vidia is one of the many fairies witnessing the arrival of the new fairy, Tinker Bell, in Pixie Hollow. Upon acknowledging Tinker Bell's talent as a tinker fairy, Vidia simply scoffs, classifying tinker faires as the most useless talent in all of Pixie Hollow. When Tinker Bell attempts to befriend the latter, Vidia displays immediate disgust towards her for her unlikely talent. Learning about the mainland, Tinker Bell decides she wants to visit herself. However, she is unaware that only nature talented fairies can perform this task of travel, in which Vidia is aware of. To witness Tinker Bell's embarrassment, she advises her to prove herself worthy of traveling to the mainland, in which Tinker Bell creates an array of inventions for Queen Clarion's review. This display, however, was nowhere close to earning her worthiness and Tinker Bell is informed by Queen Clarion that she cannot enter the mainland, for it is only for the nature talents. As Tinker Bell grows disheartened from the news, Vidia watches her falter with delight.

Tinker Bell goes as far as attempting to change her talent and attends lessons on how to become an animal fairy. Trying out her newfound knowledge, she attracts the unwanted attention of a hawk. She quickly dashes for a hiding spot inside a tree hollow where this spot is occupied by Vidia. The hawk's attention switches to Vidia, nearly ending her life. At attempts at saving her, nearby fairies project fruits at the predator, hitting Vidia in the process. When the hawk finally flees, Vidia is left in public humiliation, her body drenched in wasted fruit. Guilty, Tinker Bell offers Vidia assistance, only to be harshly denied and shooed off.

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue[]

Summertime begins, and the Fairy Camp has taken place. In attempts to keep her away from humans, Vidia informs their nearby to Tinker Bell, urging the latter to go explore, with Vidia following secretly behind. Right when Tinker Bell decided to return to camp, the two stumble upon a handmade fairy-sized house. Although Vidia immediately found it dangerous, Tinker Bell went to explore. Despite her various warnings and attempts, Vidia failed to convince the latter to leave. Frustrated, Vidia utilizes her talent to slam the door shut, leaving the latter locked inside as her way of teaching her a lesson. Unfortunately, the young human girl, Elizabeth Griffiths, approaches the small house, forcing Vidia into panic as she tries to open the door. Her plan was in vain as the door refused to open.

After Elizabeth carried the small cottage away with Tinker Bell inside, Vidia went back to camp to inform the others.

Fanon[]

VidiaTink is one of the most popular ships within the fandom with fans viewing it as a nostalgic ship. The pairing received massive attention due to the major contrasting personalities between the fairies, triggering the Opposites Attract and Odd Couple tropes. With their growing relationship turning into a friendship, they initate the Enemes to Lovers trope as well. This is also another reason why many fans find themselves shipping the two. The ship is notably rivaled with Tinker Pan, the het ship between Tinker Bell and Peter Pan.
