VinAda is the het ship between Vincent Nightray and Ada Vessalius from the Pandora Hearts fandom.
Canon[]
Vincent and Ada first met at a party they were both attending. Ada saw him with Gilbert and approached him to introduce herself. Ada said she saw a sad look in his eyes that drew her towards him. Vincent saw the darkness of another in her eyes and hated it.
Ada is genuinely attracted to Vincent. She wanted to get to know him and be in a true romantic relationship with him. Vincent, however, was attracted to Ada to use her. He saw Ada as a way to get to Gilbert and to Oz. He believed her to be another stupid woman that had no real use. He had never planned to pursue a romantic relationship with her.
Despite the one sided relationship, Vincent continued faking his way through it and became close with Ada. Ada expressed concerns that Vincent could be hurt because of the head hunter, putting him on the same level of concern as Gilbert and Elliot. Vincent promises her nothing is going to happen to him. This conversation caused Vincent to feel disgusted towards Ada.
As Vincent and Ada became close, Ada showed her “true self” to Vincent. She was a witch with a deep interest in the occult. This originally angered Vincent and caused him to yell at Ada, but he calmed himself when she became upset. He lied that he was okay with it and let her spend the entire night talking about the occult just to make her happy. Something he later regretted.
Nearing the end of the series, Vincent seems to be developing romantic feelings towards Ada. It came to the point where Ada had been able to comfort the child Vincent from the past and snap the current Vincent out of his stupor. Something even Gilbert couldn’t do. Instead of returning to dating after this happened, Vincent had Gilbert lie to Ada that he had died back in the abyss. Ada knew this was a lie but didn’t mention it.

Fanon[]
As one of the very few canon ships within Pandora Hearts, VinAda has more supporters than expected. There are no popular ships that VinAda can ruin, giving less reason for people to dislike it. According to works on AO3, it is currently the sixth most popular pairing. It is a decently supported ship on tumblr.
VinAda is seen as a problematic ship due to the unhealthy aspects of it. Despite that, the most common discourse for the ship is whether or not Vincent returned Ada's feelings. Some see that Vincent lied about his death so Ada could have her own happiness. Others believe Vincent lied about his death to get rid of Ada.
