Vollizzy is the poly ship between Serial Designation V, Doll, and Lizzy from the Murder Drones fandom.
Canon[]
The three women have a complicated relationship throughout the series. Doll came to abandon Lizzy for betraying their assassination plot against V; Doll has an extreme vendetta against V for the murder of her parents; V views Worker Drones as soulless prey that deserved to be killed until she became best friends with Lizzy. In short, the trio has (or had, in Vizzy's case) a very complex relationship. Their relationship fails to progress as Doll loses her life to Cyn.
Pilot[]
Serial Designation N, V's teammate, helps her breach the Worker Drone colony. From there she hunts down her prey hungrily. She and her leader, Serial Designation J, bump into Worker Drones in hiding, Doll and Lizzy being one of them. Before V could kill anyone, Uzi Doorman arrives on scene with her new friend, N. A battle engages though Uzi doesn't face V head on.
As the fight pursues Doll hides from sight with Lizzy. They reappear when the battle comes to a cease. Lizzy and Doll cheer for Uzi and N's success. But the mood immediately shifts as they watch as Uzi scolds her father, Khan Doorman, for leaving her for dead in the hands of N. V is visibly aggravated by her defeat and bondage all the while. She, N, and Uzi take off into the Murder Drone corpse house as Doll and Lizzy watches.
The Promening[]
Doll is revealed to bear the Absolute Solver like Uzi. Doll has an extreme vendetta against V for being the murderer of her parents. To satisfy her thirst for revenge, she hosts a plan with Lizzy, who recently became close friends with V, to invite V to prom. V willingly accepts the invitation underneath the desire to consume all of the teen workers attending. Uzi is forced into prom by her father simultaneously. Doll and Lizzy were asked by Khan to help his daughter prepare, much for Uzi's lament when she discovered this.
The trio arrive in Doll's home to prepare. Uzi is immediately unsettled by the environment and attempts to leave. Doll blocks her means of escape by teleporting in front of the door. Uzi anxiously and hesitantly accepts her fate, acknowledging she has to get ready for prom. As she dresses in the restroom, she overhears Doll and Lizzy's master plan to assassinate V.
However, Uzi only hears the part where they say they're inviting the Murder Drone to prom. Knowing that V isn't participating to have a simple dance, she escapes Doll's house via a ventilation shaft.
As this is happening, Lizzy announces V's election as prom queen, much to everyone, including V's, shock. Blinded by the appreciation and positive attention she's receiving, she approaches the stage mic to make a speech but freezes up. Doll takes advantage of V's vulnerability. Lizzy becomes hesitant before giving into her care for her best friend and demanding her to run.
Doll pins V's wrists with pipes and pinning her in place. She carelessly flings Lizzy to the side. She sadistically approaches the Disassembly Drone and gives her a brief flashback into the day V killed her parents.
After the flashback subsides, Doll says "you get the point" before stabbing V's stomach with another pipe. Even as V attempted to fight back with bullets, it was no use against Doll's Solver. Finally, Uzi and N arrive but are appalled by the scene before them. Uzi is obviously reluctant to the idea of saving V but gives in. She blocks V with her body and faces the vengeful Doll.
Doll is confused to why she is protecting and siding with the Murder Drones and makes this known to Uzi. Uzi explains that humans are forcing the drones to kill each other, and that she doesn't have to be alone in whatever she's going through while sparing a heartfelt glance at N. Doll stonily dismisses this speech and attempts to toss a bladed attack at the Triumphant Trio. N pushes Uzi out of the way so he and V dealt with the attack instead. Uzi and Doll are then seen battling each other, knives being flown ajar.
As Lizzy helps V heal backstage, N arrives on time to join Uzi's side. Finally, V lands the finishing blow by secretly sneaking behind Doll and shooting the Worker Drone's skull. This puts an end to the three building a further relationship with one another. Doll doesn't lose her life until the seventh episode, Mass Destruction, despite V landing a fatal blow on her.
Moments[]
- In the credits of Absolute End, Lizzy hosts Doll's funeral via PowerPoint presentation as a memorial. Though she is upset with Doll's death, complaining that she was gone too soon, V is completely emotionally detached and expresses vain instead of mourning.
Fanon[]
The Vollizzy ship is a rarepair within the fanbase. The ship came to birth with the popular ships Dizzy and Vizzy being merged together. Dizzy and Vizzy experienced their own ship war with both pairings coming very closely in fan fiction numbers on AO3. As a passive "solution" to the war, an "alliance" is created among shippers by merging both favored ships together into one mix. Like Nuziv, the ship is commonly depicted with V and Doll expressing romantic attraction towards Lizzy.
However, this isn't always the case. In other variations, it could be a shared passion between all members or even centered around V or Doll.
