A Shared Suffering

V and Uzi have been possessed, turned into eldritch beings, and used as Cyn's puppets. It explains why V was so intent on killing Uzi; she reminded her of herself.

All Work vs. All Play

Uzi is much more serious and hardworking than the laid-back and playful V. This doesn't mean that V didn't have her serious moments, however, like the moment she sacrificed herself to protect Uzi.

Defrosting Ice Queen

V gradually warms up to and cares for Uzi. This is a big step in her character considering she was depicted as a stoic, careless, and selfish person for the longest run time.

Downplayed. V's "final words" to Uzi declared her trust in her prior to sacrificing herself to the Sentinels.

Were sworn enemies since the beginning even without directly meeting each other. But with further progression of the series, they still were jerks to each other. It all comes down to a solid frenemy relationship once they realize they really need each other.

Uzi and V practically loved bickering and arguing with each other but they forge into a team to defeat the notorious AbsoluteSolver.

Their meeting was bound to happen considering V's home planet combusted and she was forced to fly to Copper 9 to destroy Uzi's kind. So romantic, right?
