Waluaisy is the het ship between Waluigi and Princess Daisy from the Super Mario fandom.

Canon

One thing that Daisy has in common with Waluigi is that both are associated with Luigi, Daisy is his love interest, Waluigi is his rival. Another thing is that neither have much presence in the main series, with only Daisy becoming more prominent while Waluigi is still mostly relegated to only appearing in spin-offs.

The Prima Guide for Mario Party 4 mentions that Waluigi has an unrequited crush on Daisy. In Mario Party 5 and 6 their team name is "Awkward Date", hinting at Waluigi's romantic interest in her. In Mario Party 8 however, their team name is "Double Facers". In the DS title, their team name is "Skinny Stars", possibly referencing another thing they have in common.

In the baseball games, Daisy has bad chemistry with Waluigi.

In Mario Tennis Aces, Daisy witnesses her dear Luigi being corrupted by a cursed tennis racket that Wario and Waluigi brought in. Finding out that they wanted to harness the racket's power, she disapproves of Waluigi's efforts to cheat and instigating the story mode's main conflict in the process. She and Peach defeat him and Wario in a doubles match. After Mario strips the racket of its power, she will scold Wario and Waluigi for still wanting to use it despite knowing it causing nothing but trouble for everyone.

In Fortune Street, Daisy will make her discomfort at having to visit Waluigi's shop very clear. She will say that she isn't surprised at the high-priced items considering who's running the shop and outright call Waluigi "icky".

Fanon

Waluaisy is a popular ship for Waluigi, but decidedly less popular for Daisy. Most people don't seem to support it because they see any real chemistry between them, but rather because both are thoroughly underutilized characters in the series, so the idea of giving them a storyline of Waluigi trying to win her over appeals to fans of Waluigi, regardless of outcome. Many also want Waluigi to have more of an identity outside of just being "Wario's partner", arguing that making him an explicit romantic rival for Luigi (if an ineffectual one) would at least give him something to do.

Many like to think that despite his grotesque exterior and unpleasant behaviour, Waluigi's feelings for Daisy are genuine. Some even believe that in-universe, Waluigi had something to do with Daisy becoming playable in Super Smash Bros..

Many think that Waluigi hates Luigi so much because he actually receives Daisy's attention, further fuelling their existing rivalry. Some unsympathetic portrayals of Waluigi depict him as only wanting Daisy because Luigi has her, making their rivalry motivated by petty jealousy rather than envy.
