Wasteland Family is the family ship between Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Ortensia Whiskers, and the Bunny Children from the Mickey Mouse and Friends fandom.
Canon[]
In the Epic Mickey franchise, Oswald and Ortensia are the parents of the Bunny Children, and all of them live together in Wasteland. In the Tales of Wasteland comics, it is revealed that there are 420 Bunny Children, all of whom-including the girls-are named "Oswald Junior" followed by a number. Oswald and Ortensia's character profiles from the comics notes that Oswald's jealousy of Mickey Mouse and longing for his old popularity interferes in the life of the family.
Due to Ortensia being petrified while helping to imprison the Shadow Blot during the timeskip in the first Epic Mickey game, she is of course unable to interact with her husband and children. Oswald, after placing Ortensia's inert body within Dark Beauty Castle, took up a reclusive existence within Mickeyjunk Mountain to keep guard on the imprisoned Blot. The Bunny Children were thus left free to roam Wasteland unchecked, which they could do in relative safety due to being apparently indestructible. A number of them took to haunting their mother's vacant house in OsTown, demonstrating an awareness of their mother's absence despite the oblivious attitudes often displayed by many of the Bunny Children.
Upon first meeting Mickey, Oswald notes that he had tried to make Wasteland a good home for his wife and their children prior to the Thinner Disaster and the arrival of the Shadow Blot. Additionally, despite leaving his offspring to run amok in Wasteland, Oswald takes issue with Mickey if the player should choose to help round up the Bunny Children for confinement in Mean Street City Hall. Eventually, Ortensia is restored to life thanks to Oswald and Mickey's combined efforts, and the family is reunited. However, the Bunny Children's reaction to their mother's return goes unseen.
In Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Ortensia becomes concerned for the Bunny Children after Wasteland is struck by a massive earthquake. She eventually travels to her house in OsTown and tasks Oswald and Mickey with sending the Bunny Children there to join her. In the event the player sends all the Bunny Children to be found around Wasteland to Ortensia's house, Ortensia expresses her gratitude to Mickey and Oswald by rewarding the players with a pin. However, she will react angrily in the event that the player pursues the alternative option of sending the Bunny Children to Paulie's ice cream parlor. Oswald, if the player takes this course, also predicts Ortensia's anger towards him for this course of action.

The Wasteland Family, as the name suggests, is exclusive to the Epic Mickey games and related material. It is a rare instance of Mickey Mouse and Friends adult characters being depicted with children. Indeed, the romantic pairing of Oswensia is typically depicted as being in the dating stage, rather than married with children. Additionally, the ship has something of a rivalry in Rabbit Family, in which the Bunny Children are the offspring of Oswald and Fanny Cottontail. This alludes to their origins in the Oswald short "Poor Papa", and seems to indicate that Ortensia is the Bunny Children's stepmother rather than biological mother.
