Watercolors is the femslash ship between Cris and Mincy from the Omori fandom.

Canon

Cris and Mincy do not interact within the events of the game. It is likely that they, at the very least, know of each other, due to how the live in Faraway, which is a small town. They also appear to be within the same age group.

Fanon

The ship is a rarepair. This is partially due to how both Cris and Mincy are supporting characters, and are thus shipped less. This is also partially due to how they do not interact with each other in the game. However, there are other ships that largely overshadow it. On Cris's end, the ship is largely overshadowed by Beachball. Other notable rivals on Cris's end include Sunfish, Waterlily, Seabunny and Swedish Fish. On Mincy's end, the largely ship rivals Picture Perfect, Paintball and SketchBook.

The ship name Watercolors most likely comes from Cris's love for the ocean and Mincy's love for art. The same applies to the ship's alternate name Paperboat. Fans who support the ship may do so as they believe Cris and Mincy look good together. They may also believe that they complement each other well. Supporters of the ship may choose to believe that Cris and Mincy met and became good friends before the events of the game.

On AO3, Watercolors is the third most written ship for Mincy and the tied for the most written for Cris. It is also the most written femslash ship for both. There are currently 20+ written works. There is also a decent amount of fanart for the ship.
