WeltCae is the slash ship between Welt Yang and Caelus from the Honkai: Star Rail fandom.
Canon[]
Welt is from Earth and has often protected his planet (he even took on the German word for world, Welt). He also works as an teacher and an animator as well. As Caelus is revealed to us for the first time when Kafka places a Stellaron in his chest, it seems likely that he is an artificial human. His main goal is to reach to the end of his the journey. They both ride the Astral Express, following the Trailblaze path to become the Nameless.
Today is Yesterday's Tomorrow[]
The Trailblazer mission "Today is Yesterday's Tomorrow" is where Welt makes his debut appearance. Caelus blocks a blow from the Doomsday Beast for March 7th, but the Stellaron inside of him ultimately reacts negatively to the force of Destruction. Welt comes and knocks Caelus unconscious with his cane just as he is about to blow up the Space Station. He is subdues by this action. Upon being questioned by March, he responds, "They're okay now. Let's talk somewhere else."
When Caelus speaks to Welt during the mission, Welt thanks him for rescuing March 7th and worried about the Stellaron that is within Caelus' body. In addition, Welt give some advice to Caelus to shut his eyes before the jump because it might help with the dizziness.
Jarilo-VI[]
Himeko recommends the Express' younger members to travel to Jarilo-VI on their own, but when she senses Welt's disappointment, she says that he will soon be able to go on an adventure. Watching Caelus, March 7th, and Dan Heng from the Express, Welt and Himeko remain silent. Sometimes Himeko is unable to calm Welt's worry, but she always manages to convince Welt to remain in the Parlor Car. Before Caelus returns, Welt prepares to seal the Stellaron after Caelus destroys Cocolia. He expresses satisfied with Caelus' first mission and willing him to answer his questions.

Finally, Welt is able to go on a journey with the March and Caelus. When they do, Tingyun takes them to Fu Xuan and Jing Yuan after saving her from a bunch of Mara-struck.

In the fandom, WeltCae is a unique pairing. This is primarily due to the fact that Honkai: Star Rail is a new game. Because of their closeness and love bond, many fans also ship them. Since the others believed Welt to be Caelus' father, many fans also considered them as father and son. There are 20 of 30 works of WeltCae on AO3. They compete with this ship with the LuoWelt, VoidWelt, and DanCae.
