Wednesday's Child Is Full of Woe[]
Wednesday is being shown her room at Nevermore, and as she enters sees that her roommate's side of the room is bright-colored. Her roommate comes over excitedly to meet her, and Larissa introduces her as Enid. Enid asks if Wednesday is okay since she looks a little pale, and Gomez says that she always looks like that. Enid welcomes her to Ophelia Hall, and goes for a hug but stops when Wednesday steps back. Morticia says that Wednesday is allergic to color and Enid asks what happens to her. Wednesday sarcastically says that she breaks up in hives and flesh peels off her bones, much to Enid's confusion. Larissa tells Enid to show Wednesday around and to pick up her things from the register office as well, which she excitedly does.
Enid starts to explain the history, but Wednesday tells her to save it since she doesn't plan to stay for long. Enid asks why and Wednesday says it's because it was her parents idea, as they clearly plan on trying to turn her into a version of themselves. Enid asks her to address a rumor that she killed a kid at her last school, and Wednesday clarifies that it was actually two kids, leaving behind a stunned Enid.
Enid catches up and shows her the "quad" and Wednesday points out that it's a pentagon. Enid says that Snarky Goth Girl routine may work at normie school but Nevermore is different. Enid says she'll give her a rundown of the school's social scene, but Wednesday says she doesn't plan on participating in such adolescent cliches. Enid says to use it to fill her obviously bottomless pit of disdain, and starts to go over all the school cliques. Enid is then met by a classmate who tells Enid that he heard a rumor that her new roommate eats her victims, before Enid steps aside to show him Wednesday. Wednesday says she actually feeds her victims to her pets, and when he calls her an Instagram filter, Enid pushes him off. She says it was a small school and there wasn't much online about her, and suggests she gets social media. Wednesdays says it's a meaningless void of affirmation, and turns away.
Wednesday is taking off the colors from one half of the window, when Enid comes in and demands to know what she's doing. Wednesday says she's dividing their room equally, and that Enid's half of the room looks like a rainbow threw up on it. Enid starts to protest, but Wednesday tells her that she needs silence during her writing time. Enid is confused and Wednesday says that she devotes an hour to writing her novel. She says that if Enid did the same to her blog it might be coherent, but Enid says she writes in her voice. It's what her followers love. Wednesday says that her followers are clearly imbeciles, and that they respond with dumb little pictures. Enid says that emojis are how people express emotions, which she realizes are a foreign concept to Wednesday. Wednesday then corrects Enid's spelling on her name and that if she plans on gossiping about her she can at least spell her name correctly. Enid then starts playing some pop music loudly, and Wednesday threateningly tells her to turn it off. She's about to get up in her face, when Enid shows off her werewolf claws.
Soon after, they're then interrupted when Ms. Thornhill—their dorm mom—comes in. She notices the split in the room, and apologizes for not being there when Wednesday arrived. She expects that Enid has been welcoming and Wednesday says she's been smothering her with hospitality. Wednesday hopes to return the favor...in her sleep.
Afterwards, Wednesday finishes her Cello practice, Enid comes outside and asks how she got it through the window. Wednesday says she had an extra hand, referring to Thing, Enid is astonished. She asks where the rest of him is and Wednesday says it's one of the biggest Addams Family mysteries. Werewolves start to howl and Wednesday asks why Enid isn't doing the same. Enid says that she can't and all she's got is her claws. Her mom says some are late bloomers, Lycanologist say that there's a chance she may never transform. Wednesday asks what happens if she can't and Enid says that she'll become a lone wolf. Wednesday says that sounds perfect, but Enid says that she would be kicked out of her family pack. Wednesday still doesn't see the problem and Enid says she could die alone, but Wednesday says that everyone dies alone. Enid says that Wednesday sucks at cheering people up and begins to cry. Wednesday asks why she's crying and Enid says it's because she's upset. Enid asks if she's ever cried before or if she's above that as well. Wednesday tells the story of when her pet scorpion was killed, and that it was the only time she cried. Finding that it didn't solve anything so she vowed never to do it again. Enid says that her secret is safe with her, but still thinks Wednesday is weird. Wednesday says that the feeling is mutual, and offers her her single room back in exchange for showing her how to use her computer.
At the fair that weekend, Enid asks Wednesday if she can trust the normie—Tyler Galpin—and Wednesday says that she can trust that she can handle herself. Enid wishes her luck, and goes for the hug, but Wednesday just stands there awkwardly. Enid notes that Wednesday still isn't a hugger, and walks off.
Woe Is the Loneliest Number[]
Enid is tells her dormmates to work on the canoe, since if Bianca—a classmate of Wednesday and Enid—wins again she will scratch her own eyes out, and Wednesday arrives and says she would pay money to see that. Enid happily says she's excited that Wednesday decided to stay, and Wednesday thought that Enid wanted her single room back. Enid admits that she doesn't do well alone, and that Thing gives a killer neck massage, so she sees it as a win-win. She asks why Wednesday decided to stay, and Wednesday says she's not going to be a pawn in someone's game. Enid asks if she's referring to Rowan and Wednesday says that she witnessed a murder. Enid points out that everyone saw him alive this morning and Wednesday says that this makes her believe she's losing it. She asks what Rowan's story is, and all she can says is that he's Xavier's roommate. She starts getting at her team about the Poe Cup, and Wednesday asks what it is. Enid explains and asks if Wednesday wants to help, take a stab at being social. Wednesday says that she does like stabbing, but not the social part and that it will cut into her writing time. Enid says that fine as long as she's cheering on race day...or glaring. She then gives Wednesday a friendly wink.
Later, Wednesday tells Enid that she needs to return to the woods where Rowan was murdered but can't since she's being watched. Enid puts together that Wednesday wants her to cover for her, and Wednesdays says she needs for her to cover at bee keeping club. Enid sarcastically suggests that she asks Thing, but she can't because he's mad at her. Wednesday asks why, and Enid says that Thing feels like Wednesday doesn't respect him as a person. Wednesday points out that he's technically only a hand, but Enid points out that Thing is her family. She suggests she apologize, and she might reconsider helping her.
Enid is crying on her bed when Wednesday returns to their room. She demands to know where Wednesday was given that she was practically having a heart attack, since Yoko's in the infirmary due to a garlic bread incident at dinner. Now she doesn't have a co-pilot for the Poe Cup, and Wednesday says that Bianca was behind it. Enid asks how she knows and Wednesday says it doesn't matter, they're gonna take her down tomorrow. Enid realizes that Wednesday is going to join her team, and asks if she's really willing to do that for her. Wednesday says she wants to defeat Bianca very badly, but Enid asks if she's mostly doing it because they're friends. Wednesday turns around and doesn't answer. She asks how Bianca keeps winning. Enid explains that no other boat gets across and back without sinking and Wednesday says it sounds like sabotage. Enid reminds her that there are no rules in the cup and that Bianca is a siren. Wednesday decides that they need to beat her at her own game.
Wednesday joins Enid before the Poe Cup and Enid says everything's in position. Wednesday says that Thing is in place, and Enid asks what they were working on all night. Wednesday says she won't spoil the surprise and Enid says that she has her own surprise, telling her that her costume's in the tent. Wednesday is shocked and goes to put it on, clearly annoyed that she's dressed like a cat. Enid says she looks "purr-fect", but wants to know where her whiskers are. Wednesday says that if she asks again she'll be down to eight lives.
As they reach the end of the Poe Cup, the Black Cats win and Enid happily says that this is the best moment of her life. She tries to get Wednesday to admit that she got in the whole "School Spirit" thing. Wednesday look back at Bianca, saying that Enid didn't tells her it was a dark vengeful spirit. At the celebration ceremony Wednesday gets away for a moment, till Enid finds her. She asks what she was doing and Wednesday says she was hiding since people were randomly smiling at her. Enid says it's called having her moment, and that she took down Bianca Barclay. She should enjoy it, and the other girls want to know if she wants to hang out later. Wednesday gives her a look, and Enid says that it won't kill her. Wednesday says she'll think about it, and Enid accepts this.
Friend or Woe[]
Enid happily tells Wednesday that her volunteer assignment is Pilgrim World and asks Wednesday what she got. Wednesday got Uriah's Heap and Enid says it's a weird creepy antique store, but she'll probably love it. Enid hopes that Ajax is in the same outreach as her and skips off.
In town, Wednesday asks Enid to trade spots with her, but Enid says no. Wednesday says that she needs to look into Pilgrim World, but Enid says it's not a fair trade. Wednesday tells her that Ajax—whom Enid has a crush on—will be at Uriah's and starts to take it back, but Enid quickly grabs her hand to stop her. Enid then quickly trades with her and says that Wednesday is the best before going off.
Enid is trying to pick out a top for her date and shows it to Wednesday, asking if it's too much. Wednesday takes one look at it and says she feels like she's just been napalmed. Enid says she's excited for her date, even if the afternoon was a disaster. She didn't even get to do her dance routine, which Wednesday sarcastically remarks is a tragedy. Enid remarks on who would destroy the statue in town, not knowing Wednesday had part in the destruction, Wednesday changes the topic and reminds Enid of the time and that she will be late for her date. Enid asks her to wish her luck and Wednesday says that she'll nail gun his heart if he breaks Enid's.
Woe What a Night[]
Wednesday is putting up pictures from the scene of the latest attack, Enid remarking that when she suggested a makeover for her side of the room, "Ted Bundy's Pinterest" wasn't what she meant. Wednesday says it's still not as creepy as Enid's stuffed unicorn collection and Enid asks if this is why she snuck out last night. Wednesday confirms so, and has discovered that all the victims have had body parts surgically removed. She shows Enid the picture's who ends up fainting at the sight. Wednesday then tells Thing to get the smelling salts... again.
Enid is so excited when Wednesday tells her that she's going to the Rave'N with Xavier, and asks if she knows what she needs now. Wednesday suggests a bullet to the head, but Enid means a dress. Wednesday says she already has one, but Enid says she needs a new one, and knows just the place. Wednesdays not into it, and has more pressing concerns, but Enid thought they were bonding. Wednesday says she'd just slow her down and encourages her to go with her friends. Enid asks if she's sure, and Wednesday nods. Enid gives her one last look but heads inside.
At the Rave'N, Enid runs over and says that she loves Wednesday look. Although says her date choice is interesting, indicating Tyler. Wednesday says she could say the same about Enid's date, Lucas. Enid says it's not what it looks like, and Wednesday says it better not given that he already has two strikes. Enid explains that they're both just trying to make other people jealous, so it's a win-win for both of them.
You Reap What You Woe[]
Wednesday comments to Enid that Eugene isn't on the mend but in a coma. Enid asks if she's been to see him since they're friends, but Wednesday says that she's the reason he's in the hospital. Enid says that's not her fault and suggests that the monster's finally been scared off. Wednesday suggests they're in hiding to avoid the weekend when she sees her parents. She says she should have brought her plague mask and Enid says to just take a look at her family. Wednesday does and sees several boys punching each other. Enid says that they better get this over with and go to meet their families.
Quid Pro Woe[]
Wednesday is holding a séance to contact Goody Addams when she is interrupted by Enid. She apologizes for interrupting whatever it was, and Wednesday explains what she was doing. Enid says it's very on brand and asks about her relative Goody. Wednesday explains that she's been ignoring her summoning, and Enid asks if shes tried using one of her scented candles. A note then slips under their door, and Enid suggests Goody is answering. Wednesday picks up the note and it says to meet at the Crackstone crypt.
Wednesday and Enid head out there, Enid pulling out her claws when she hears a noise. Wednesday points out that she was the one who insisted on coming along, and that she was fine on her own. The crypt is open and Enid gets a smell, remarking on what died. Wednesday says it smells like her childhood and heads inside. Enid says that she should stay outside and be lookout as Wednesday shuts the door behind her.
After it being revealed to be a surprise party, and Wednesday getting another vision, she draws her vision in her room. She gives Thing the cold shoulder and Enid says not to since the party was her idea. She thinks everyone should be celebrated on their birthday, but Wednesday prefers to be vilified. Enid asks if she had been having a seizure, but Wednesday says she wasn't that lucky. Enid asks if she can at least get kudos for pulling one over on Wednesday and she does admit that it was impressive. Thing then pulls a gift from under the bed, a gift from Morticia and Gomez. Enid says that they had told Thing to hide it during parents' weekend and is promptly freaked out when she sees the dead animals in the taxidermy kit. Wednesday would have preferred live squirrels, and Enid goes over to get her own gift for Wednesday. Wednesday opens it not sure what the crocheted present is and Enid says it's a snood. She made it Wednesday's signature colors and reveals that she has her own. She suggests that they wear them together to class, but Wednesday comes up with an excuse that their so unique they should only be worn for special occasions. She suggests a funeral, putting off Enid, even though it's an Addams compliment.
Wednesday tells Enid that she regrets not being as grateful to her Enid for her surprise party, and Enid asks if she really means it. Wednesday just tells her to take the win, and suggests finding a way off campus to have a redo, just two best friends, taking note of the full moon. Enid gets an idea of lying about wolfing out to get a pass to the Lupin Cages, and Wednesday says that her deviousness has finally rubbed off on Enid. Enid suggests they wear their snoods, but Wednesdays says that she thinks she left it at fencing. Enid corrects that she left it at the Weathervane, but Bianca brought it back, and Wednesday says it's like a monkey's paw.
Wednesday gets into Tyler's car, with Enid right behind her. Enid asks if Tyler is their Uber Driver Tyler questions it and remarks that he thought they were going on a date, while Enid thought they were having a girls' night out. Wednesday says there's been a change of plans and Tyler asks about the snoods, but Wednesday just tells him to drive.
They arrive at the Gates place, and Enid calls it creepy. Wednesday is aware and goes to unlock the gate, both Enid and Tyler saying that they didn't sign up for this. Wednesday says that she wants to celebrate her birthday this way and they can leave if they want. She heads into check out the garage and the two follow behind her. They get there and Enid breaks open the door, Wednesday finding the car that ran over the mayor. Enid says that they need to call the Sheriff, but Wednesday says he'll just get her expelled. They search the place and Wednesday decides they need to split up. Tyler downstairs while she and Enid upstairs. Enid doesn't like that idea, but follows Wednesday anyways.
Once upstairs, Wednesday tells Enid to split up, but Enid asks if she really wants to do that in here. She says that's how every best friend dies in a horror movie and Wednesday says the faster they search the sooner they can leave. They split much to Enid's terror, and calls for Wednesday when she finds a room completely clean. Enid sees a music box with the letters "LG", which Wednesday interprets as Laurel Gates. Enid suggests she moved back in, but Wednesday says that Laurel is dead. They hear a noise and Wednesday tells Enid they have to go as she grabs the music box. Enid says that this is the worst girls night out ever, when they reach the stairs and see the monster. Wednesday gets Enid into the dumbwaiter and closes it behind them when the rope breaks.
They plummet into the basement when the monster roars from above and they start to escape. Wednesday helps Enid through a window to get out, but Wednesday goes back to look through the jars. Enid asks what she's doing and Wednesday says that it's the body parts from the monster's victims. Wednesday then crawls through the window, leaving the monster behind. She asks Enid if she's alright, but Enid just frantically asks since when does Wednesday care. She runs off and Wednesday follows, but quickly turns back. Enid asks what she's doing and Wednesday says they have to get Tyler, Enid quickly running after her. They arrive back to find a hurt Tyler and Enid says that the monsters inside. Wednesday hands her her flashlight to look over Tyler when Xavier arrives to help.
Wednesday returns to her room to find Enid packing her bags. She asks what she's doing and Enid says she'll be staying with Yoko for a few nights. Wednesday says that Weems won't expel her and Enid asks if she's supposed to thank her. Wednesday says that she apologized, so it's over. Enid says that Wednesday will use everyone to get what she wants even if it puts them in danger. Enid says she could have died because of her stupid obsession, but Wednesday says that they didn't. She's closer to solving the case and that's what's important. Enid says that she's tried really hard to be Wednesday's friend, going out of her way for Wednesday, but Wednesday says that she never asked for that. Enid says that she didn't have to because that's what friends are supposed to do. She says that if Wednesday wants to be alone she can be alone, and grabs her stuff, storming out.
If You Don't Woe Me by Now[]
Wednesday is looking to Enid's side of the room, clearly missing her when Enid comes in. Enid apologizes since she thought Wednesday would still be at the wake. Wednesday says she leaves as soon as the dirt hits the ground, and Enid says she just needs to look for some nail polish she can't find. Wednesday points out that this is the third time in 24 hours that Enid's forgotten something and Enid asks how everything's going. Wednesday says that without annoying distractions she's almost finished with her novel. Enid asks if she was one of those and Wednesday says that she did have some annoying habits. Enid wants examples and they go back and forth on each other's annoying habits. Enid says that she at least now has a friend that won't endanger her life, and that Yoko is asking her to be her permanent roomie. Wednesday turns her back on Enid and tells her not to hold her back. Enid says to enjoy her solitude and storms out.
Wednesday returns to her room to find Enid unpacking her things. She says that someone has to look out for her and Thing since they got broken into. Wednesday asks what happened with Yoko and Enid says that she just needs a few more boundaries. She pulls out the tape to divide the room, but Wednesday tells her to skip it. She jokes about Wednesday mellowing out, and Wednesday says she never will. She is however evolving. Enid says they will take it one inch of duct tape at a time, and Wednesday asks why the change of heart. Enid says that the two of them work, even if they shouldn't. Wednesday says that Thing missed her, and Enid says that she missed Thing as well. Enid says she's sorry about Xavier, but Wednesday says she's not since he's a killer and a liar, and she loves being proven right. Enid does reveal that Thing told her about Wednesday's date with Tyler and asks how it went. Wednesday says she was interrupted, and Enid says that he's working the late shift.
A Murder of Woes[]
Enid is helping Wednesday pack her things, saying that she can't believe she'll miss her. Wednesday assumes that she'll room with Yoko and leave her behind but Enid says she never will. Enid asks if Wednesday will forget about her, and Wednesday says that the mark Enid left on her was indelible. And will remember her anytime she is annoyed by rainbows and pop songs, with Enid giving an awkward thanks. Wednesday says that she always thought relying on others would lead to disappointment, but feels that she's now the disappointment. Enid said that she learned a lot from Wednesday, and not just criminal behavior. Wednesday never cared what anyone thought, something most people only pretend to do. She asks if she has a plan to get around Weems, but Wednesday says the only way to stop the prophecy was for her not to be there. Enid says that school can handle itself, and that Eugene woke up the night before. She goes for the hug, but Wednesday still steps back. Enid deciding that "not hugging" is their thing.
Enid is with Ajax when she gets a call from Eugene about Wednesday, when Thing comes in and tells her that Wednesday has been kidnapped. She goes to search for her in the woods with Thing, and ends up finally transforming for the first time. She eventually finds Wednesday being attacked by the Hyde and defends Wednesday by attacking the Hyde with her added on strength. Wednesday realizes that it's Enid and as she fights the Hyde, runs off to kill Crackstone.
When Enid returns to everyone she asks where Wednesday is, but no one says anything. She then sees Wednesday coming through the gate and runs to her, enveloping her in a hug. Wednesday initially pushes her back, but then pulls her into a hug again.
After everything, Enid and Wednesday meet in Weems empty office. Enid admits that she'll miss Weems, and Wednesday says that she died for the school, which is something she can respect. Enid says that she was one of them, and they both go to leave. Enid says that with classes cancelled, Wednesday should come visit her in San Francisco, guaranteeing a mass amount of fog and drizzle. Wednesday says she's tempted and they say goodbye to their friends.

Wenclair grew in popularity from the moment the first trailer for Wednesday was released, and grew further as further promotional footage was releasing showcasing the unique bond between the two despite the drastic difference of personality and attitude, this also being a huge factor in the ships popularity because of the Opposites Attract trope clearly being demonstrated. Being much more popular than its canon or semi-canon rivals: Enjax, Wavier and Wyler, to the point many of the cast members being vocal in their approval of the ship.
