White Diamatoa is the non-binary ship between White Diamond and Tamatoa from the Steven Universe and Moana fandoms.

Canon

As White Diamond and Tamatoa are from different series owned by different companies, it is unlikely that they will ever meet. They share similar roles in their stories as antagonists to the main characters, though while White Diamond is the final threat of the original series, Tamatoa is merely an obstacle on Moana’s and Maui’s journey. Both are gargantuan in size, which makes approaching them difficult in any way. However, whilst White uses her mind-controlling powers to suppress her opponent’s free will and individuality, Tamatoa is shown to actually use his immense size and strength to his advantage.

Both are flamboyant and obsessed with themselves, seeing everyone around them as inferior. For White Diamond, she is the uncontested supreme leader of the Gems, for Tamatoa he is on top of the food chain with no natural predators. For the majority of the conflict in both stories, both White Diamond and Tamatoa are perfectly content with staying where they are, Tamatoa holds a hoard of treasure on his back, while White is in a regressive state. While Tamatoa is shown to have a fondness for “shiny” things, White Diamond takes great pride in her “shine”. What also helps is that Tamatoa compares himself to a “diamond in the rough” in his song. Though while White has shown disdain for beings she deems inferior to her, Tamatoa only sees other marine life as a source of food and doesn’t think twice about devouring common fish.

Because of their seclusion from the conflict, the only reason why they are a threat to the protagonists is because they have something the protagonist want: Tamatoa had stolen Maui’s hook allowing him to shapeshift, all four of the Diamonds are needed to cure corruption. Tamatoa is also shown to desire the Heart of Te Fiti, Te Fiti’s life-giving powers are waning without the Heart, White Diamond is initially shown to be similarly uncaring towards organic life or curing the Corruption. When confronted, they show that they enjoy talking their opponents down and making them feel worthless, which partially involves holding and dropping their respective nemesis. They are also shown to be unaffected by the sanctity of family, as White Diamond dismisses Steven’s insistence that he is not his mother as a delusion, while Tamatoa is unmoved by Moana telling him that the necklace currently in his grasp was a gift from her grandmother, shooting her down by telling her that he ate his own grandmother. Finally, their most prominent nemesis (Maui for Tamatoa, Steven for White Diamond) are semi-divine and were shown to have had a far more amicable relationship with them in the past (though White was merely close with Steven’s mother and initially believed that they are the same).

Fanon

White Diamatoa is an obscure crackship in the Steven Universe fandom, likely stemming from White often being compared to Tamatoa. In Moana fanworks, Tamatoa is often given similar powers to White Diamond’s, possibly being another motivator for the ship. What content for the ship exists so far depicts them as the same as their canon selves, suggesting that the ship isn’t meant to be taken too seriously. What makes the ship a little less crack is that many fans of Steven Universe are likely to be fans of Disney musicals, though crossovers are mostly one-sided. There’s no fanfiction for this ship at this point.
