Willsker is the slash ship between William Birkin and Albert Wesker from the Resident Evil fandom.

Canon

First meeting

In 1977 William and Wesker developed a friendly rivalry at the school while being conditioned to Umbrella's ethical ideals. Their education was concluded on July 29, 1978 when a decision was made to close the laboratory's school. William and Wesker were offered senior roles at the nearby Arklay Laboratory, and transferred there two days later.

Resident Evil 0

On the night of July 23, 1998, William and Wesker are working together. William is confused as to how the t-Virus leaked, contaminating the lab, the mansion and a train three miles away. The train in question has been taken over by Umbrella’s Security Service’s Delta Team. Hearing William, Wesker quickly covers the microphone communicating with Delta Team. He tells William it’s irrelevant, and how they must make sure no knowledge of this incident gets out, leading to him confirming they need to destroy the train. Wesker and William hear two men of the team get killed by mutated leeches which have infected the train’s occupants.

Sometime later, the train derails as no one was controlling it. Wesker and William continue to monitor what’s happening as they watch rookie S.T.A.R.S member Rebecca Chambers and former Lieutenant Billy Coen through CCTV as they enter into a building which used to be a school used by Umbrella Pharmaceuticals in the 1970s. As they watch the CCTV, their signal is interrupted by an unknown man, claiming to be the one who released the t-Viurs into the mansion and train. The man accuses them of aiding in the murder of Dr. James Marcus, the school’s director, siting he wants revenge.

Wesker and William leave their post and discuss the identity of “that crazy young man,” claiming if true, Umbrella “will be finished”. Wesker expresses concern to how if the conspiracy against Dr. Marcus is revealed, Mr. Spencer’s career will be over, including his own and William’s. Wesker and William part ways for Wesker to complete his own plan. William questions what that plan is, to which Wesker tells him he’s “simply going to say goodbye to Umbrella”. With the biological weapon utilizing the t-Virus almost completed, their only remaining task is to require the combat data. William becomes slightly frustrated as he’s still working on the more powerful g-Virus. Wesker tells William he can do as he wishes, though he will stick to his original plan of luring the S.T.A.R.S members to the infected mansion to use them as test subjects. William passively agrees with Wesker. William brings up the unknown man again as he is also a pressing matter. He tells Wesker there’s a self-destruct device in the basement of the U.R.C, claiming he’ll find it and annihilate the place into rubble.

Fanon

Willsker is a semi-popular ship within the Resident Evil fandom. During the earlier years of the fandom, the early 2000s, it was one of the most popular, though over the past 20+ years other ships have taken its spot. At one point, Willsker was the crowning ship of the fandom.
