Joey and Rose are the children that Slade Wilson had with two separate women. Joey and Rose were raised seperate and were unaware of each other for most of their lives. With the two eventually meeting as they both got involved with the Teen Titans. The two also bonding over their hatred of their dad, and how it affects how everyone else sees them.

Because of the experiments done to Slade before becoming Deathstroke, it has allowed his children to be born with unique abilities. Abilities their father wasn't aware of, until one of his enemies informed Rose and Joey of one another. Knowing how they feel about the father who wasn't there for either of them. Allowing the half siblings to bond.
Joey was angry to learn that his father had cheated on his mother when they were still together, but he couldn't being himself to hate Rose. Who has been helping him to master his powers and has been there for him, since he chose to stay with her over leaving with Slade. Joey learned about the hardships Rose understood after losing her mother and had to survive alone on the streets as a child, before her abilities led to her meeting the man who brought the Wilson siblings together. He uses his abilities to show Slade Rose's story, to explain his decision to stay with his sister.

The Wilson siblings are one of the less explored sibling relationships within the DC fandom. This is mostly due to their relationship rarely being adapted into other DC media. Though fans do like having both have their sibling bond with each other, as it helps them feel less isolated. The ship is often popular with fans of various Titans comics and adaptations. Particularly fans of the 03 comics run, and the live action Titans series. There are fans in Teen Titans animated series fandom, who like to incorporate the two into the world of that series. Seeing it as a missed opportunity within the series itself. On AO3, Wilson Siblings is the sixth most written ship for both Rose and Joey. There are currently 25+ written works.
