WizWinds is the slash ship between Wiz Kid and Curly Winds from the My Little Pony fandom.

Canon[]

The first time we see Wiz Kid and Curly Winds interact, in My Little Pony: Equestria Girls (2013), seems to be the first time they talk overall. Their background story begins with Wiz Kid almost falling off his ladder during the song sequence where the school cleans the hall for the Fall Formal after Sunset wrecked the place, which is fifty two minutes into the runtime. Before Wiz Kid can fully fall off his ladder, Curly Winds grabs the bottom and keeps it steady. The two lock eyes and Curly gives a thumbs up, allowing Wiz Kid to safely continue putting the stage light up. This is their only scene in the movie, but the core of the story told already adds some depth, as it's about all different types of people coming together, including the 'nerds' and the 'athletes', of which they are.

We see this pair again in Rainbow Rocks, their first sighting being five minutes in where they're shown painting a poster together, along with many other established background characters in the gym. The second clip is two minutes later, wherein Wiz Kid is walking down the hallway and gets hit in the head by a ball accidentally, sending his Canterlot headband flying onto the other boys head, which they laugh at together. The antagonists of this movie, The Dazzlings, draw them apart for a while with their magic, and they're even shown being angry at each other forty minutes in. They're of course brought back together within the next forty seven minutes, and we see them in the crowd swaying together, arms around each other, listening to The Rainbooms.

The Friendship Games features the least amount of interactions between them, but still two noticeable ones. The first being the two studying together in the library five minutes in, and the second being them talking at the mall.

In the Rollercoaster of Friendship movie, we first see them near Rainbow Dash by the biggest ride in the park. This movie is also where the implications of these two being a background couple come in, as sixteen minutes in we see Wiz Kid and Curly Winds holding hands and walking out of frame smiling, and Curly has a caramel apple in his hand. Their last two notable sightings are both thirty eight minutes in where they cover their ears, and then forty two minutes in where they're shown in the crowd side by side, dancing.

Spring Breakdown features two clips, one of them being them standing together fifteen minutes in, and the second being Wiz Kid holding Curly Winds’ arm in the sinking ship and then being carried away from the danger, over Curly's shoulder.

Their most amount of sightings is in Sunset's Backstage Pass, where their relationship implications seem to become concrete. They're first spotted waiting in line to get into the concert- this clip is shown several times due to Sunset's looping issue. On her first run, Pinkie spots the neon garden and dashes towards it. When our perspective is cut to the garden, we see that Wiz Kid has his back to a hedge with his eyes large, and Curly Winds is holding his shoulder almost caging him in. Curly is very handsy with Wiz Kid, and so we see he has his arm around him once again thirteen minutes in in the background. At fourteen minutes in we see them in yet another crowd. A small detail can be found if you slow down your speed while Sunset tells the camera 'the magic can stop now', as in one of the split seconds of the rapid background changes Wiz Kid is shown tucked against Curly on a couch. Their last scene together in the movie is large for the ship, as the pair walk with their fingers wound together, looking at each other, and they buy a churro box to share.

There are a couple short clips in mini episodes and cut-scenes. In Holiday's Unwrapped, Curly Winds is in the mall looking nervous with a hand behind him, and he startles when Wiz Kid taps his arm. Once they acknowledge each other, Curly anxiously hands Wiz Kid a gift and blushes. Wiz Kid blushes too and then hugs Curly, who reciprocates after a moment of surprise. During Sunset's song 'Let It Rain’, we see them in the crowd gathered around her performance holding an umbrella together. As the song continues they dance together and side hug once the rain stops.

Lastly, Curly and Wiz Kid also appear in Pinkie Pie’s ‘Coinky Dink’ song sat on the opposite side of the same table as Lyrabon. They’re frequently sighted with these two, if not in the same frame, then one after the other. It should also be noted that Coinky Dink is a song about romance in Pinkie’s work place. Other than these interactions, the rest are merely just tiny shots of them in crowds.

Fanon[]

Due to the lack of content around this ship the fandom for it is not the biggest, so there isn't a lot of viewer speculation to go around; but most people who talk about Equestria Girls can notice this relationship in the background and will sometimes comment on it. They also fall under a popular trope, Opposites Attract, as they fall under the stereotypical jock and nerd designs and personalities. Despite not having very many fanfics, or having much art, they're still quite loved in the fandom as a piece of small talk.
