WonderCaptain is the femslash ship between Diana of Themyscira and Carol Danvers from the DC Comics and Marvel fandoms.

Diana and Carol have never met before, given that they were both made by seperate comic book companies. While crossovers have happened before, they never interacted in them. Due to the modern rivalry between DC and Marvel, they are not likely to interact in either comics, nor on screen.
Carol and Diana both have the power of flight, and have had many adventures in space. They're also part of one of the main teams of their universes. Diana with the Justice League and Carol with the Avengers. With them sometimes even being the ones in charge of their teams. They also both are trained in combat to fight in war. Carol was an air force pilot, while Diana was an amazon trained to fight since she was a child.
Diana and Carol were the first female superheroes to have their own movies in their respective cinematic universe. Being noted as examples of "strong female characters" by fans. Diana and Carol both had struggles to overcome since they were children in order to reach their goals. As well as being granted opportunities to go on a new adventure. Both movies also had sequels that were considered downgrades by many fans.

WonderCaptain is a rarepair in the DC/Marvel crossover fandom. Given that Carol was rather late in the MCU compared to other female characters, shipping Diana with other Marvel characters was more popular. Fans of the ship liked the idea of Carol meeting Diana and the two comparing their experiences. Many fans noted that Diana is canonically bisexual and that Carol was interpreted to be a lesbian in the films. Which in turn made fans like the idea of the two getting together. As many had been hoping for a canon queer character in the MCU and were hoping it would be Carol.
