Wonderwing is the friendship between Donna Troy and Dick Grayson from the DC Comics fandom.

Donna and Dick have been friends since Donna's creation. With the two being close throughout their histories.
New Earth[]
Graduation Day
The death of Donna Troy during the events of Titans/Young Justice: Graduation Day, in addition to Lilith Clay's death, hit Dick Grayson extremely hard, to the point that he disbanded the Titans since he felt that he couldn't be part of a team in which he card deeply about its members. To help with this, Roy Harper created the Outsiders, a vigilante group of strangers so that Dick could be able to work without any emotional attachment (as planned by Roy, this was instead set up so that Dick would start to care again and be able to come to grips with Donna's death).
Season 1[]
DONNA TROY
Back when they were kids, Dick storms into his room throwing a batarang, only for Donna sitting on his bed to catch in mid-air. She comments that she always wanted one and Dick says that he thought he'd heard Bruce talking to someone. Donna says she talked Diana into bringing her along for her JLA talk so that the two of them could get into some trouble. She sees that she missed all the fun, and Dick says it wasn't fun, it was The Joker. Donna says even Diana thinks he's scary, and Dick admits he went to the fight when Bruce told him not to. Dick thinks he might have been right and Donna asks what happened. Dick says a lot of people died and being unable to save them made him feel like quitting. Donna doesn't blame him, and asks if The Joker would quit. Dick says that he'll never stop and realizes that Donna tricked him into realizing why he can't quit. Dick asks why she's always right, and Donna says it's because she's older smarter and prettier. Donna assures him that he and Bruce will stop Joker, and Dick thanks her for her words of encouragement. Dick says she's much better at pep talks than Bruce, and Donna says she'll always be there when he needs someone to talk to. She then throws that batarang at him and says that sidekicks need to stick together.Fanon[]

Wonderwing is one of the most well liked friendships in the DC Comics fandom. Even being one of the few relationships that is genuinely preferred as platonic by the fandom. Many have been disappointed that their relationship had rarely been portrayed onscreen, as it is so important to both of their characters. Fans rejoiced when Donna appeared in Titans and she and Dick had been friends since childhood. With fans grateful that their friendship was treated with such weight and complexity as their comic counterparts. With many agreeing that it captured that brother/sister dynamic that they had in the comics.
Though many miss their dynamic in modern comics. Given how often their relationships is not brought up in favor of others. With Donna getting pushed to the side and barely mentioned within Dick's line up of friends.
On AO3, Wonderwing is the most written ship for Donna. It is also the eighth most written ship in the Titans (TV 2018) tag. There are currently 325+ written works.
