Woodnail is the het ship between Naily and Woody from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
In "Reveal Novum", Woody is stabbed by Naily in her audition tape.
In "Today's Very Special Episode", Woody screams in pain when Naily falls all the way down from Bell's string and lands with her sharp tip hitting his back.
In "Don't Dig Straight Down", Naily and Woody rush to the stairs of Golf Ball's factory, after falling into it. Naily apologizes to Woody about stabbing him seven years ago. Woody forgives her and the two run into Coiny and Cake. All of them are relieved that they are all alive, but Naily asks why Coiny is running down the stairs. Coiny replies that there's lava coming from above, then asks why Naily and Woody are running up the stairs. Naily replies that there's lava coming from below, too.
Woody spots a deprecated trash chute and points it out to the others. Naily states that they could try, but the trash chute is all boarded up. Coiny says that it's no big deal, as he could break it, so Woody, Naily, and Cake throw him over. Coiny manages to open the trash chute, but ends up falling into the lava. With Coiny gone, Woody, Naily, and Cake are now left.
Naily and Cake say that the hole is too narrow for them, but point out that Woody can pass through the chute if he enters sideways. Woody feels nervous and sad that he has to leave the two, but they tell him that he should just go and to remember the two. They then throw Woody into the trash chute, and Cake burns to death, while Naily survives since the lava is not hot enough to burn metal.
In "Seasonal Shift, when Anchor alters the events of "The Escape from Four", Woody (in his tiny form) can be seen standing on Naily's head.
Fanon[]
Woodnail is a rarepair in the fandom. The ship originates from BFB 14, as the two get paired with Cake and Coiny during the lava flood. Due to this however, people don't ship any of them that much as the scene was short and the two only has two lines to eachother specifically. Despite this, people ship the two as Woody didn't want Naily sacrifice herself to save him. The ship hasn't gained traction since as they haven't interacted due to the split in BFB 16. That caused the two to be in seperate seasons. Their rival ships are Coinaily, the ship between Coiny and Naily, and Woodtaco, the ship between Woody and Taco.
