World Tour is the poly ship between Bobo, Espresso, Hashamoto, Ruhrgold and Turnov from the Starlight Express fandom.

The national engine's don't have many individual interactions or stand out moments between them all in any production. With their relationship mostly being based on being onstage all at once. Though they do participate in several of the group numbers in most versions of the show. Namely, "Entry of the Nationals", "AC/DC", "Coda of Freight" and "Light at the End of the Tunnel". Occasionally they also appear in "Rolling Stock" together, depending on the placement of "Entry of the Trains" in a given production.
Bochum 2015-2018[]
Control calls for the international trains to get ready for the parade. Espresso is announced first, and he comes out to represent italy. Bobo is then announced and comes out to represent France. Turnov is announced next and comes out to represent Russia. Hashamoto is next and comes out to represent Japan. Ruhrgold is announced last, and is there to represent Germany. As Control asks for more entries, the five are pulled around by an unknown force. They are all then shut down, but wake up when a new challenger approaches. The five then scatter and make room as Electra makes their appearance.

World Tour is a rarepair in the StEx fandom. With it often being more overshadowed by the post-2018 version of the ship. This in turn makes the ships rivals within the fandom, though not as much due to them both being less popular pairings. Fans often ship the nationals together, finding that they may be interesting as a poly relationship. As well as believing that it would give the nationals more depth. The ship name "World Tour" comes from all the members of the poly ship representing various countries from around the world in the championships.
Some fans view the ship as more of an interconnected polycule rather than them all being with each other. With it varrying from fan to fan how they view who is with who.
