World War Threesome is the poly ship between Bucky Barnes, Peggy Carter and Steve Rogers from the Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom.

Captain America: The First Avenger[]
Peggy goes to visit Steve after one of his performances and ends up telling him that the 107th had 75% of it's unit missing or killed during the last battle. Steve then takes her to go talk to Captain Philips and asks if a James Barnes was one of the one's that was killed. Philips informs him that he didn't return and apologizes for his loss. Steve then sees the map and gets and idea, running off. Peggy finds him getting equipment, and says that it's likely that Buck is dead. Steve says that she doesn't know that, and plans to set out to rescue him and the other missing anyways. Peggy then has an idea and takes him to Howard Stark so they can air travel for the rescue mission.
After Steve's successful rescue, he asks Bucky if he'll follow him in the next mission, and Buck agrees. Buck because he's Steve, not because he's Captain America. Peggy then comes into the bar, and Bucky checks her out, but is ignored in favor of Peggy telling Steve about some of Howard's new equipment. Bucky notices the tension and gives Steve a smirk, as she makes a comment about the squads singing in the other room. Buck asks if she doesn't like music but Peggy says she does, and may go dancing when this is all over. She and Steve make eyes at each other, and Bucky asks what she's waiting for. Peggy says the right partner, and tells Steve she'll see him at 0800 before leaving. Bucky bemoans that he's now invisible and is turning into Steve, and Steve jokes that maybe she has a friend for him.

World War Threesome is a smaller ship in the MCU fandom. Though it is a bit more common among the Captain America subset of the fandom. The ship names, "World War Threesome" comes from all three having fought in World War II, and the ship being a throuple. Its rival ships include Stony, SamBucky and Cartinelli. On AO3, World War Threesome is the fourth most written ship for Peggy. There are currently 730+ written works.
