Wrice is the slash ship between Wreck and Nice from the To Be Hero X fandom.
Canon[]
Nice and Wreck attended the same training program and they both aspired to become heroes together. Nice and Wreck were best friends prior debut and knew each other for years. They are shown in a flashback in Episode 2 performing a dance style called tutting together. In a following flashback, they are having drinks at Wreck's apartment where Wreck knocks on Nice's arm deliberately. Despite Nice's severe OCD, he doesn't seem to mind and initiates a beer fight against his best friend afterwards. Fans note that Nice had been unbuttoning Wreck's vest in the process. Nice and Wreck are shown to share a very close friendship pre-debut.
Nice and Wreck both joined the TREEMAN Corporation but were given extremely different scripts. Wreck was presented as a villain, the destruction to contrast Nice's perfection, to help grow Nice's popularity. They were portrayed to the public as hero and nemesis even though they were best friends behind the stage.
During staged battles, though Nice is depicted to be completely crushing Wreck during battle, Wreck can be seen disappearing right before Nice's blow lands in Nice's character story movie to imitate a powerful blow while not dealing any severe damage. Nice is also seen immediately checking up on Wreck after the battle and seemed to almost caress his helmet while fixing the misaligned arrow.
Strangely enough, Nice did not inform Wreck of his suicide and Wreck's messages to Nice were left unseen for over a month. Wreck assumed that Nice had been ignoring him since Lin Ling had taken the place of Nice on the Secret Love Recipe show a week after his suicide. A month later, Wreck crashes "Nice" and Moon's wedding. It was staged so Moon could be freed from her contract but Wreck goes off script by attacking "Nice" instead.
Wreck ends up chasing "Nice" around, demanding answers as to why the hero wasn't replying to any of his messages which the fake Nice, Lin Ling, does not understand. Miss J threatens to terminate Wreck's contract with TREEMAN if he continues to act like this after "all the money they pumped into making him Nice's nemesis". Wreck uses his geokinesis to bring the fight to the sky where he demands to know where Nice is. When Lin Ling tries to convince him that he is "Nice", Wreck immediately calls him out and states that he knew the moment he met Lin Ling, he knew he wasn't the Nice that He knew. Lin Ling hesitantly informs Wreck of Nice's death, causing Wreck to breakdown upon finding out.
- Wreck – “Speak! Where is Nice?”

- Wreck – “No! I could tell the second that you opened your mouth! You're not the Nice that I know!”

Wreck channels his sorrow and grief into anger and attempts to use his powers to kill both Moon and Lin Ling. Lin Ling manages to strike Wreck in the face, sending him falling into the clouds below. Wreck accepts his fate and starts reminiscing on his past with Nice.
- Wreck – “Just as I thought. You aren't Nice. That wasn't his punch. I would know.”
- Wreck – “We used to be best friends. Becoming heroes as a dream we shared. Yet the script painted us as total opposites.”

In episode 21, Hero Smile, Nice's idol, gives him advice on a genuine smile, telling him to reflect on happier memories. Nice has a flashback when he was with Wreck. He was practicing a smile in the mirror and asks Wreck how it looks. Wreck jokingly tells him his smile looks like a pervert's and Nice elbows him as Wreck chuckles.

- Wreck is shown to have rainbow magnets on his fridge in his apartment in one of his flashbacks, heavily implying on their relationship though not explicitly stating it due to Chinese censorship.
- When Wreck sees "Nice" and Moon's interview on the Secret Love Recipe show, he expresses frustration as he had assumed Nice was ignoring him entirely by throwing an empty can at his TV, cracking the screen.
- Wreck's apartment is also shown to be much darker and messier after Nice stopped responding to his messages.
- Wreck's character design is flawed in a deliberate way as he has a birthmark on his left cheek and the crown he wears with his villain outfit is asymmetrical.
- Wreck seems to be the only person who cared about the original Nice in any way as not even Moon, his "girlfriend", was distressed after receiving news of his suicide but much later concerned about her continued contract with TREEMAN.
- In episode 21, When hanging out Nice asks Wreck if his smile is okay and he tells him about his dream as a kid was to be like Smile one day.
- Also in episode 21, Wreck can be seen wearing yellow socks, a color from Nice's casual outfit color palette.

Wrice is a favorite ship among the fans, many praising Director Li Haoling for bringing out the doomed black and white trope again. Wrice is depicted in the fandom as opposites, the black and white duo also the imperfect and the perfect. Fans have also made many references to ShiGuang, a different black and white duo from Link Click, as To Be Hero X and Link Click were created by the same director. Wrice is also rivalized with Nicest.
Wreck starts to cry after accepting his fate near the end of episode 2 and some fans speculate it's because he'll be with Nice once again soon. In episode 24, Nice is shown to be alive. This left some fans wondering if Wreck can also be alive too which leads to the theory that Graffiti King might be Wreck who is infected by Fear. Fans point to their similar designs and Graffiti King having a broken heart.

- It is a commonly used sarcastic phrase that points out how queer relationships are often erased or dismissed as simple friendships.
- In the Latin American Spanish dubbing, when Wreck crashes "Nice" and Moon's wedding, Moon tells Wreck "First finish your job, you can kiss him later", referring to Nice (Lin Ling). This dialogue only happens in this dub. She says:
