Xingyunling is the poly ship between Xingqiu, Chongyun and Xiangling from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Xingqiu, Chongyun and Xiangling are childhood friends and have been having recurring cameos together in multiple events, especially during Lantern Rite. Though at first, the only evidence of their friendship was hidden behind their voicelines of each other, their first on-screen scene together happened during the Moonlight Merriment event (AKA the Moonchase Festival).
The three of them are all 4-star Liyue characters released during Genshin Impact’s first launch.
Voicelines[]
Xiangling only has a voiceline about Chongyun. She always sees him and Xingqiu together at Wanmin Restaurant to eat. She mentions how Chongyun doesn’t eat hot food while Xingqiu tries out every dish and that she wants to join in with his meal. She ends the voiceline saying the two of them are quite interesting.
On the other hand, Chongyun has voicelines for both Xiangling and Xingqiu. Chongyun says he doesn’t touch Xiangling’s food for personal reasons. Chongyun also talks about how he admires Xingqiu yet warns us of his mean side and asks us to come to him to form an alliance if we were ever to fall prey to Xingqiu's antics.
Lastly, Xingqiu has voicelines for both Xiangling and Chongyun. For Xiangling, Xingqiu explains how we should check the look on Xiangling’s face, especially if excited after collecting ingredients, as she tends to force others to taste-test her food. Xingqiu ends the voiceline mentioning how he lets Chongyun handle these situations if it were to happen. For Chongyun, Xingqiu states how Chongyun understands him quite well and is making good progress in martial arts. He ends the voiceline saying Chongyun needs more practice especially at eating spicy food. These two voicelines both end with a possibility that Xingqiu has Chongyun eat spicy dishes from Xiangling and that these voicelines are tied together.
Moonlight Merriment[]
The Moonlight Merriment event (AKA: The Moonchase Festival), was an event that catered towards Xiangling and Keqing as they made preparations for the festival. Xiangling was preparing for Masterful Chefs, a cooking competition, while Keqing was researching about the Stove God. During the first event quest, the two of them encountered Xingqiu and Chongyun at Qingce Village. Xiangling asked the two of them of their preferred food, to which Chongyun realizes she is partaking in the competition. He advised her to not cook anything strange but Xiangling assures him she is conducting research before coming up with her dish. After sharing their preferences, Xingqiu and Paimon praise Xiangling on her heart and pure intentions when cooking meals. This led to Xiangling being embarrassed.
At the end of the event, a cutscene showed of the Liyue friend group as children together which involved the trio along with Xinyan, Hu Tao and Qiqi.

There are many who enjoy the trio as friends. Which has led the romantic ship of them to be considered a rarepair in the Genshin Impact fandom. Especially as other ships involving the characters, such as Xingyun, Taoling and Chongling, are also more popular.

Trivia[]
- Xingqiu, Chongyun and Xiangling are part of a popular META team comp named “National Team” with Bennett. Though the team now has had many changes after the release of new characters, they were still the first variant of “National Team”.
- Xingqiu, Chongyun and Xiangling had a rate-up together during Hu Tao’s first banner.[1]
- Xingqiu's Genius Invokation TCG deck contains the character cards of himself, Chongyun and Xiangling.[2]
- Xingqiu, Chongyun and Xiangling visions are hydro, cryo and pyro respectively. This makes them have a rock-paper-scissors dynamic based on the reactions the three elements have with each other.
- Xiangling and Xingqiu both appeared in Chongyun's 2022 birthday chibi art. The two of them collected fruits to prepare a cake with jam which had Chongyun suspicious of them putting Jueyun Chili instead.[3].
