YaoQiqi is the friendship between Yaoyao and Qiqi from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Currently, the two have not interacted in the story line. Many people like to ship them as friends. This may be due to them sharing the short female model. Also known as the 'chibi model'. Other than Qiqi being immortal, they look like they are both the same age. Qiqi also has a voice line about Yaoyao.
In official art, there is art of Yaoyao and Qiqi celebrating the mid-autumn festival of 2020. In this illustration, you can see Yaoyao holding a plate of moon cakes, while Qiqi and Paimon are eating them. Qiqi also has a voice line about Yaoyao. This implies that Yaoyao and Qiqi know each other. Yaoyao is also Ganyu's assistant, and in Ganyu's trailer, Qiqi is seen.
They appear to have a few similarities. For one, Ganyu has interacted with both of them. Yaoyao is Ganyu's assistant, and in Ganyu's trailer, Qiqi is there. A second similarity is that they both share the short female model, also known as the 'chibi model'. As for their personalities, they are different. Qiqi and quiet and polite, speaking in a lethargy voice. For Yaoyao, based off of information we know, she likes to go on board The Crux when they are stocking up. She likes to play until they set sail. However, this is a problem because Ganyu has to keep her off the ship. Yaoyao also likes seafood, and does not like fruits or vegetable’s. As for Qiqi, her favorite food is coconut milk, often referring to it as 'cocogoat' milk.

Seeing as Yaoyao and Qiqi are both from Liyue and share the same models, many people like to ship them as friends. In fan works, art of them together usually contains Klee, Diona and Sayu in them too. People also like to ship YaoQiqi as friends because they were both in the official mid-autumn festival art. There are not many fan fictions about them, however a decent amount of fan art has been created. A variation for YaoQiqi is Chibi Squad. This is the ship between these two, Klee, Diona and Sayu. On AO3, there are only 5 works of the ship currently.
