YellowNeedle is the het ship between Yellow Face and Needle from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
While walking to Yoyle Mountain with the rest of W.O.A.H. Bunch, Yellow Face asks Needle how much further they have to go. Her tracking device claims they have only 70 feet left, causing the two to cheer. After the team falls into Evil Canyon, Yellow Face asks Needle, who's balancing the whole team from the spikes below, if she can hold them up much longer. She responds no, making Yellow Face worry that they need something to land on so they don't die. Yellow Face, along with Coiny, Bomby, and Nickel, later get slapped by Needle to the top of the gorge out of the canyon. Afterwards, Yellow Face tells the team that they still need to get Needle up. As Nickel gets the idea to kill her and later recover her using the Hand-powered Recovery Center, Yellow Face throws a flamethrower at her as she calls for help shortly before being set ablaze.
After Yellow Face recovers Needle and the team continues their walk, Yellow Face immediately apologizes when Needle brings up what happened beforehand.
While Yellow Face is advertising his revolutionary headphones, Needle interrupts and tells him she wants his entire stock. Although he points out that he only has two headphones, Needle says it's perfect and uses each pair of headphones to constrain their two opponent teams. Later when W.O.A.H. Bunch encounters FreeSmart, Needle threatens to fight them. Hearing this, Yellow Face offers a product that can kill someone right away to which Needle accepts. Yellow Face, with hearts for eyes, is excited to have his first customer and promptly hands her a scribble he calls a katana. Needle uses it to go after Pencil.
When Yellow Face notices Needle feeling nauseous from having to drink rainwater, Yellow Face advertises grape flavored powder packets hoping that she would buy some. She politely declines, leading Yellow Face to try to give her a discount of 10%. She further declines as Yellow Face drops the discount by 10% each time he asks. This continues until he reaches a discount of 200%, where Needle accepts the offer and is handed the powder packets and some money from him. She puts the powder in the rainwater and no longer feels disgusted by having to drink it. After the challenge, Needle asks Yellow Face if he knows where Bomby was the whole time. As he starts stuttering, he ends up admitting that he killed him to make the powder, leading Needle to angrily call him a murderer.
In the painting challenge, Needle is worried that their team's paint color is purple due to Yellow Face hating the color.
As Needle and Nickel are nervous about being eliminated, Yellow Face interrupts them and says that he isn't. Despite Needle giving a sarcastic response, Yellow Face lets them know about his Win Token printer. When the three end up in the bottom four at Cake at Stake, Needle asks Nickel if he thinks that Yellow Face will lend them some Win Tokens. Nickel is doubtful that he would give her any, and Needle and Nickel are shortly announced safe anyways.
During the balance beam challenge in The Power of Two, Yellow Face overhears Price Tag call Needle out for targeting them and offers to fight her for them. Yellow Face and Needle slap each other until he bites her arm in the process, knocking her off the balance beam. He tells Nickel when he thanks him for saving them that he only did what he thought was right.

YellowNeedle began picking up some traction after the revival of BFDIA, the season they competed as teammates in. Moments in the season, such as Yellow Face in awe of Needle being his first customer, sparked interest in shippers of the two. The ship especially garnered a following within fan wikis of the show, with romantic fan art being made to support the two. Around the time of the season revival, some Twitter users were also interested in certain scenes that provoked ship energy from the two. The ship is a rarepair overall, however, with ships such as Coineedle, Pineedle, and Yellowclock rivaling the pairing.
