YoiKlee is the friendship between Naganohara Yoimiya and Klee from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Currently, Yoimiya and Klee have only interacted during the Irodori Festival in version 2.6. Right before they interacted. some kids were trying to cheer up Yoimiya because she couldn't set off any fireworks. Then, a boy named Iwao introduced Klee to Yoimiya. During their interaction, Yoimiya compliments Klee's outfit, saying that it was well made and cute. Yoimiya also says that Klee's mother must be a very cool person, to which Klee agrees. Klee says that Yoimiya is also a cool person, and Yoimiya says "We'll be great friends, I'm sure of it." Yoimiya even offers to make a firework that looks like a four-leafed clover, and set it off because Klee likes them. Klee responds with "Yeah! And after the fireworks, we can go fish blasting with Dodoco." But because Albedo told Klee that she can't go fish blasting, the traveler tells her that. Yoimiya also says that she wasn't allowed to because of the festival. So to cheer them up, the traveler and Paimon takes them around to see the Irodori Festival.
While going around Inazuma, Klee and Yoimiya get the idea to paint and make a story. After finishing it, they go to the Yae Publishing House. Unfortunately, Aratani, someone who works for the Yae Publishing House, had to say no, because the deadline for printing orders had passed. However, Yoimiya seeing Klee sobbing got her to try and convince Aratani. Yoimiya said that they could pay extra, or if they were short on staff that she could pitch in. Even when Aratani still said no, Yoimiya didn't give up on Klee. She didn't want Klee to be sad like how she once was. Luckily, Albedo and Yae Miko came, and they heard everything. Despite being behind schedule, Yae Miko let them print Klee and Yoimiya's stories.
Klee and Yoimiya also have many similarities. For one, they both have blond hair. They also both have pyro visions, and are energetic and outgoing. Alongside that, they both wear red clothing and have ranged weapons (catalyst and a bow.)They also have similar hobbies. Klee also likes fish blasting, and Yoimiya loves fireworks, which are both explosive things. They also use things they love in combat, bombs and fireworks. However, Klee lives in Mondstadt while Yoimiya lives in Inazuma.
Fanon[]
Even before version 2.6, many people shipped YoiKlee as friends due to their similarities in personality and hobbies. Those who don't ship them as friends sometimes ships them as family, due to their similar appearances. However, after the Irodori Festival, this ship grew in popularity. Fan art of the two usually depicts them hanging out, playing with fireworks, and sometimes with Hu Tao and Yanfei. Yoimiya is usually showing Klee the fireworks, while Klee watches.
